Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty is very experienced; some are industry experts in their respective fields. The professors are approachable and polite as well as transparent. All the faculty are PhDs in different verticals and have a decent educational background if not less. There are around 2 faculties for 50 students. The exams are conducted on regular basis and there are multiple evaluation criteria ranging from tutorial tests, lab components, assignments, seminars, midsem, and comprehensive examinations.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies such as Google, SocGen, Goldman Sachs, Axis Bank, Standard Chartered, D.E Shaw, etc have been coming to BITS for Summer Internships. This year Tower Research Capital (TRC), an HFT offered an SDE role with a stipend of 23 lacs for 2 months. Even Rubrik and Sprinklr had enticing Stipends

Placement Experience :

BITS offers 3 chances to get a job or a placement from the 4yr course itself. After 2nd year, an Internship season is carried out for the summer season after the 3rd year. Students get to work in top firms for 2 months and get an experience in the outer world. Most of the students manage to get a PPO. All the students are required to undergo a 6-month Practice School Program through which they can get a job offer as well. Our college has been hosting several companies and has been pretty successful in helping most of the students to get a job. The average CTC lies somewhere between 16 to 18 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are one of the major drawbacks of this college. The fee is nearly 22 Lakhs but one can avail of multiple scholarships to easily cut down the costs to around 14-15 lakhs. BITS offers merit as well as merit cum need scholarships which can avail as much as 100% of the tuition fee.

Campus Life :

BITS is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in India. It is also the host of Asia's 2nd largest cultural festival Oasis with over 6000 footfalls. The campus is spread over 350 + acres and there are in total 13 hostels in BITS Pilani. All the course books are available in the library and if not, the seniors usually give their books to the juniors. All the important mess decisions are taken up by a student body and that body is under the government of Rajasthan and thus an independent committee.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are pretty good. First Years and Second Year students have to share their rooms, 2 per room. But from 3rd the year onwards it is mandatory to have a single room. The rooms are pretty spacious with one bed, one tube light, one fan, one chair, a window, and one study table. Bathroom facilities are decent and the washrooms are cleaned regularly.

Admission :

Good, wonderful. BITSAT level is moderate to difficult, but the whole thing is about your pace. you can find the admission details on Google. To be eligible for this course, a candidate should score at least 75% in Class 12 with PCM/B as their core subjects. BITS releases multiple iterations through which one can apply for admission if one satisfies the cutoff criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I was interested in medical science although I wanted to become a doctor I didn't pass NEET so I choose to go with pharmacy. The faculty of pharmacy is highly qualified and has friendly behavior towards students. They are always ready to help each student. The teachers have masters and Ph.D. in their respective subjects and have good knowledge. There are 2 sessional exams in one semester and each student has to be present during the exam as this is an important exam as it is used for internal assessment. The exams are conducted every 3 months and the question paper was quite difficult as semester exams.
