This course is the best for whom who didn't clear the NEET exam and have been opted as PCB rather than. PCMB. This course is the best for them.. It provides lots to enthusiasm to the students to learn about different scientific aspects of human as well as animals physiology

The aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course is the integrated nature of the course i.e The Dual-Degree. (BTech-MTech). The curriculum includes many subjects which constitute Biotechnology. Our curriculum also lets us choose electives, which is beneficial for developing interests. A problem with this curriculum is that no specific subject is taught in detail, we mostly try to cover all the topics that are essential for Biotechnology. A suggestion to be included in the curriculum is to enhance Application-based learning i.e Applying the theories through technology.

The course provides a btech and Mtech degree in just 5 years which is good deal because it saves a lot of time. Biotechnology is a fast growing field and after covid pandemic it is growing all the more. Biotech companies are very helpful in producing various medicines, vacccines etc. After the mtech degree, students can apply for jobs in industries or biotech companies. Students can apply for GATE exam. They can also go for phd which provides very vast opportunities. It has a lot of oppotunities abroad. But as of now, India is far behind.

The main moto to opt for biotechnology was to study and do jobs abroad! But as per that the curriculums activity has not trained properly to deal with outer world. The faculties need to learn or how to engage with the students, on how to build interest on their subjects, infrastructure needs to be improved. Exams are held often, sometimes the difficulty level are hard and sometimes moderate

The course curriculum is good, however, I am still not able to understand the cgpa and sgpa grading system but it's fine. And we got the new NEP SYLLABUS so basically we are the first batch to get so and therefore it's new to us.

Courses are well structured and student friendly. Faculties are well informed and most have completed their PhD and Post Doc from abroad/ top Indian Institutes. Teaching is mostly through presentations and textbooks are also provided. Regular assignments and tests are conducted to keep students in check.

I had an interest in biotechnology. It involves the application of biological principles as well as technology and career opportunities are good. Here is a good number of faculties and they taught really very well with the help of an electronic screen as well as a whiteboard. There are two semesters per year and each semester involves 1 midsem and 1 endsem exam.
There is no fee hike policy. Once you get admitted it will stay the same for rest of the course. Scholarships are there for the batch toppers and one can also avail financial assistance by taking education loans. The campus placement is also very nice with minimal stipend for training period of 12,000 and once you get the job you are paid much better.
Curriculum is perfect. We get to study all the important subjects required in this field, with efficient lab classes to understand better.
The curriculum is quite updated and gets revised every 3 to 4 years. As for industrial exposure, it was really good and faculties at KSBT are too student-friendly and help them in every situation. Biswajit Pany Sir is one among the best.
