- The Seniority culture. We have to call the senior by sir here and they are very rude.
- There are too many rules and regulations to follow like I can't roam around the campus after 10:30, I have to take permissions from faculties, warden etc to leave the campus. I have to wear uniform in college wich I absolutely hate.

I applied for Nirma university, bits pilani,IIT, IIIT Hyderabad and VIT Vellore. I got confirmed admission from VIT and Nirma but I chose NMIMS because of the past placements and also one of my brother graduated from here who is currently placed in Google with a really good package. I definitely got rejected from IIT because ofy percentile, got rejected from bits because I didn't make the cutoff. My college's admission process is through NMCET exam. It depends upon the rank and the number of students enrolled for exam.

To get into B.Arch, one has to complete the 12th with the Maharashtra board and score at least 50% in the 12th board, then he/she should clear the NATA exam and must qualify for the exam. At my time the cut-off at the college was 112 or SMTG but now it may be more for getting admission B.Arch degree.

How are IIM A students different from students of, say, SP Jain, NMIMS, FMS or JB?
The peer pool of IIM Ahmedabad varies from that of other B-schools like SP Jain, FMS, and NMIMS because of the admission criteria and quality of intake. If you manage to get into your next lecture, you may have to take a seat at the front if all other seats are taken. After the lecture, you may check your mobile and find out that the 3-4 pm lecture is canceled, but you need to complete an assignment during the break in the 2-3 pm lecture. You'll need to plan your time accordingly and find a seat in the back.
During the next lecture, you may need to complete the assignment, which could be challenging since the websites that could help you might be blocked. However, you can still use Wikipedia and copy information to complete your assignment. After finishing your work, you may feel accomplished.
1 pm-2 pm:
It's break time, and you'll want to head to the canteen to catch a seat. The MPSTME canteen is one of the best canteens among the SVKM's colleges. Here, you can order food, share it, make fun of your friends, and meet friends from other streams, which can help you take a break from lectures and assignments.
2 pm-3 pm:
When you get back to the class, you may sit at the back and witness your classmates submit their assignments or make excuses for not completing them.
