The course curriculum is partially relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. semester exams in college are tough (if you want to gain a high CGPA). There are Mini, Mid, and End term exams in one semester Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but few are only helpful, some teachers are excellent at teaching but not all.

So I chose chemical engineering because I got it in josaa and had no other choice. In chemical department the student teacher ratio is quite good ie 1:8. The professors are very educated all are iit graduates with very high level knowledge. So the semester is 4 months of duration and the term exams of nits and iits are challenging and hard.

The main reason to choose this course is the placement ratio, which here is 88 percent and the package is around 10 lakh. Also as the students are low in this branch hence you have to face a lower completion. Subjects are also easy, so if you want to learn something extra you would have enough time.

according to my rank, I got a chemicals engineer in Maulana Mazda National Institute of Technology Bhopal. I dont have enough idea about the faculty-student ratio. As I have seen to date the faculties are well qualified and the teaching style is also good.

My course is chemical engineering and all the professor of this course is very helpful and kind nature. They helped a lot and explained every thing. All the faculty of the course is educated well and passed out from a reputed institute. The exam is conducted 3 times in each semester.
If you are considering the Chemical Engineering Department at MANIT Bhopal, here are some pros and cons based on the experience of a current student:
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, if you are considering the Chemical Engineering Department at MANIT, it is important to weigh the pros and cons mentioned above. While the department has small class sizes, helpful senior faculty members, and decent placements, it also has a lack of professors, rude contract faculties, a skewed grading system, and a lack of library resources.
IIIT Naya Raipur CSE is a better option, in terms of placements. According to the recent placement highlights, the highest and average CTC for the branch is INR 10.5 LPA and INR 43 LPA, respectively. The placement rate for CSE is around 100%. Microsoft, Deloitte, Adobe, American Express, Ericsson, Capgemini, etc. visit IIIT Naya Raipur placements.
All the mentioned NITs are among the top engineering institutes in the country. Out of all the NITs in India, the best choice is NIT Rourkela. As some of my friends studied there I might be able to give you some reasons. These are:
The fee and chemical branch placement details are as follows.
Categories | Chemical at NIT Rourkela |
Fee | INR 8.22 Lakhs |
Minimum Package | INR 3.6 LPA |
Average Package | INR 6.58 LPA |
Highest Package | INR 22 LPA |
The top recruiters include L&T, Reliance, Tata, P&G, Parle, ACC Cement, Aditya Birla, IOCL, PGCIL, NTPC, GMR Energy, GlaxoSmithKline, and more.
Overall, NIT Rourkela is an excellent choice. After CSE and EC branches, the Chemical branch recorded the highest placements. The return on investment of college is decent. But you should opt for it only if you can deal with and function under strict regulations and laws.
Why do you want to opt for engineering? Is it because you enjoy Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics? If that’s the reason, then there are two possibilities for you.

Joining Chemical Engineering at MANIT Bhopal-
If you have no particular inclination, then choosing CSE may be better. As it has two domains, i.e. coding and non-coding. Plus, the internet is full of great ebooks and tutorials to teach you.
