RGPV Admission 2025

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs in various disciplines such as BE, BTech, BE Lateral, BTech Lateral, ME, MTech, MBA, MCA and M Pharm. BE is offered as a flagship program at RGPV.

For admission to the BE program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognised board. Students also need to appear for the JEE Main entrance examination, followed by MP Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Students can register for MP Counselling on the official website. Normally, in the State of Madhya Pradesh counselling process starts in the months of May-June. The last date of online registration for MP Counselling 2025 is scheduled on June 20, 2025. The total fee for the BE program at RGPV ranges from INR 1.32 Lakhs to INR 1.78 Lakhs.

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya also accept the GATE score for admission to their postgraduate program. The admission into the Ph.D. program is based on marks in the Entrance Test and an interview conducted by the University. The final seat allotment is based on 85% of the Entrance Test Score & 15% of the Interview.

The first thing I like about my college is the college location because the college is 15 km far away from the city and placed at a beautiful location so the first thing I like
Then the second this is senior support in every situation where I need the support my all senior come to support me so this was the best memories
The college is that place where you find two people and after some the two people become best friends you don't know anything bus you like those company

Dislikes

Politics evey year college organise the nodels in this all games are happening cricket, kabaddi,and etc but all in all game one or two boys are selector
And the only select their friends and when we complain to the sports teacher then they don't even listen to us they simply tell I handover all the things to the selectors
So what we do so this was the biggest thing I personally dislike about my college this is very bad

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

No this was my dicision to choose this course and I am happy for my dicision because this course was wonderful and I learn lot of this and technologies and explore many other things and I am happy to choose this course

What are the placement opportunities in the college?

Yes placement percentage of my college is 80 college say this but in my opinion this is wrong because in my time only 15-20 company are arrived But second but in my senior time 50 to 60 companies are taking part in placement cell so ya I think 60 percent in right

Okay so I give you an idea of detailed fee structure so when you take addmission in the college so if you entered in the stream of computer science and engineering so this course duration is four years and the one year of college fees is 60000 is college fee and 15000 is compulsory for every student is for bus facility so total is 75000 So one year fee is 75000 And one interesting thing if you belongs to ST ,SC or OBC category then college gives you scollership So firstly I'll explain OBC category so for OBC category students college gives 30000 per year scollership Then come to the SC,ST category so college gives full amount of college fees means college gives 60000-65000 per year scollership

My college life is to its give me lot of fun enjoyment and happiness and in every year college organise culturals event and lot of events are happens dj night where college arrange dj for all the students and play the music and all the boys and girls dancing and all the friends group adr dancing and enjoying every moment so this was the best 4 year of my life

The High octeted celebration and the events are the highlighting thing of the College.
Interaction with faculty is impressive with one to one interaction, and cultural events oraganised by the college students under mentorship of senior faculty.

The Library environment need improvement in terms of collection of books and the facilities.

How do I get my original Engineering Degree certificate from RGPV Bhopal? I Graduated in 2010 and I do not live in Bhopal or MP.

The following is the procedure for obtaining an original degree from the University via offline mode:

Download and print the main degree form from the RGPV website's download forms section.
Fill out this form completely.
Make photocopies of all of the semester's grade sheets.
Visit your college and have your form, as well as all photocopies of your mark sheets, attested by the principal or head of the institution.
Bring all of the above documents, as well as the original mark sheets, to the RGPV office near Bhopal airport.
Write an application to the RGPV registrar, explaining why you need your degree as soon as possible.
Get your challan of 250 from the Union Bank of India, which is located just behind the university's building on campus.
Submit your attested degree form, attested mark sheets for all semesters, application for an urgent degree requirement, and Rs. 250 challan on the first floor. They will collect all of your documents, give you a student copy of the challan, and direct you to the second floor, where you will be asked to return in a week.
Return to campus and go to room 501, show them your student copy of the challan, and ask for your degree; they will give you your degree. They then request that you go to the registrar's office and have your degree verified.
If you want to travel abroad, you must go to the Ballabh Bhavan (Higher Education Department) for verification.
They give you a form, which you must fill out and submit photocopies of your class 10th, 12th, and 8th-semester mark sheets, as well as a photocopy of your passport's first and last page and a photocopy of your original degree front and back.

After having your documents verified here, you must go to the HRD ministry in Delhi before traveling abroad for the same verification process.

How do I convert my percentage into CGPA under RGPV University?

Different universities use various conversion methods and grading systems.

In the case of RGPV, the conversion base is 10. If you receive 78% or 78 marks out of 100, your SGPA/CGPA is 7.8 out of 10 according to RGPV. To convert it to Grade Point Average, simply divide the number by ten. Thus, by multiplying by 10, the reversal equivalent percentage can be calculated.

Equivalent Percentage = (SGPA/CGPA) × 10

If you turn over your RGPV Semester Marksheet, you will see a conversion Formula to convert your CGPA/SGPA into the equivalent percentage required in a few exam forms that must be submitted during application time.

If you require an RGPV equivalent percentage conversion form, simply provide a Xerox copy of the back side of your semester mark sheet. There is no need for a complex format or the signature and seal of the university/college head.

The method for calculating SGPA and CGPA is also provided on the back page of the semester mark sheets.

Why does RGPV take so long to deliver degrees?

One of my friends has graduated from RGPV main campus. He told me how irresponsible the staff is. He had to stay in the college for more than 2 years although the duration of his course was 2 years. This happened because of the college's inability to complete the course on time.

This delay is the fault of the administration, staff and faculty as a whole. Many students suffer because of their inefficiency and slow tactics. The highest and oldest officials of the college have strong political relations because of which the danger to their job is minimal.

The college is slow when it comes to taking action to any kind of request. Getting a degree is a mighty task here. If you still haven’t got it, contact the administrative department frequently.

What should I do if RGPV is not sending my degree certificate?

Getting your RGPV degree certificate is as difficult as getting any certificate from a Government Office without Corruption.

There are two ways you can try to get your degree:

Apply online using RGPV portal: For this method, you need to first login using your enrolment number and password. This has to be the same you have been using for 4 years. Select the ‘Apply for Degree’ option. Pay INR 250 ( you will have to pay extra if your annual subscription has expired). Now you will have to wait for almost a year after which your degree will be finally delivered to your doorstep.
The next and more quick way is to personally visit the RGPV campus. Go to the central building and ask for information regarding the degree. After a few formalities and hours of patience, you will finally get your degree.

If you want RGPV degree urgently, you will have to visit the campus. But if you are in no rush then consider it delivered after a year.

How can I get transcripts from RGPV Bhopal? As per new rules by WES, the university has to send the transcripts directly to WES. Can you highlight the latest process?

If you have a job or are studying somewhere, you will need to take a week off to travel and apply for transcripts at the university. As a matter of fact, it is not a simple or easy process. Transcripts are required for WES evaluation.

No, there is no difference between RGTU and RGPV.

RGPV stands for Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Almost all the private engineering colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh are affiliated to this technical university.

RGTU stands for Rajiv Gandhi Technical University which is simply the English translation for RGPV.

There is however one college about which students get confused a lot. It is UIT or University Institute of Technology. It is an autonomous govt engineering college located inside the premises of the RGPV campus. The syllabus for UIT is the same as other RGPV colleges. The only difference is that their exams and results are announced by UIT itself.

No, you cannot gain admission to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) without participating in the MP DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh) counselling process. This applies to most undergraduate engineering programs, including B.Tech, offered at RGPV and its affiliated colleges

A candidate seeking admission in these courses must have passed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical subject as the third subject. The candidate must have a combined aggregate minimum of 45% marks in these subjects. There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the above requirement in the case of SC, ST, and OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates must qualify AIEEE entrance test.

The most popular program at RGPV is the 4-year full-time B.E/B.Tech program where admissions are granted as per JEE Main entrance scores followed by the MP state Counselling. The counselling process for BE admission is conducted by the university and the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of India. Other popular courses offered by RGPV are B.Arch, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, M.E, and dual degrees, etc. Admission to these programs is based on both national-level entrance scores and merit lists. RGPV Bhopal also offers Diploma courses in the field of Engineering and Pharmacy. RGPV Diploma admissions are based on the MP-PPT (Pre-Polytechnic Test) scores followed by a counseling session. Admissions to the Ph.D. program at RGPV are granted on the basis of UGC/ CSIR/ DST/ GATE/ GPAT scores followed by the written test and personal interview conducted by the university. RGPV has also introduced several UG and PG programs in online mode across the specializations of Management, Forensic Science, Fashion, Engineering, Space Sciences, Social Work, Nanotechnology, Communication, and Pharmacy. Admission to these programs is offered on the basis of the merit lists prepared by the university itself followed by the DTE centralized counseling process.

Selection for the BPharm program will be done on the basis of merit. Candidates will have to register for DTE counseling conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates looking for admission into the B.Pharm program must have completed 10+2 levels of education or D.Pharm. They must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) in total. They must have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biolog
