The courses are designed as per the current industry parameter but there are many irrelevant couses in the first year. There are also very less in course projects and software tool learning. The teachers are very much confined to only exams and not teaches other thing that helps. There is one mid semester exam within 2 months of semester and end sem within 4th month of semester. The exams are easy as mostly previous year papers repeat or the question come from the specific book.

Every student who selected a specific branch have their specific classrooms according to their branches and the faculty is very experienced in that specific subject. There are labs for every branch so that they can practice the subject much deeper. Exams are kept two times i.e., as midsem and endsem. So that the total marks and cgpa is given after the semester.

Here curriculum is very well planed. But the exams happens regularly so the frequency should be less. Altough once we able to handle all things we will be able to handle all situations in our life. They dont give holidays, atmost one on religious day but they provide 2.5 monthes holiday on summer time and 1 month on wintertime.

The very good thing of the IIT Indore electrical curriculam is that it cover a wide range of the subjects of electronic and communication domain which is the emerging field nowadays. It is very much required to make the syllabus industry oriented with more focus on creating skills like cadence and verilog rather than just focusing on circuit solving. I also recommend to remove subjects like eengineering drwaing and bioscience from first year curriculam because they are very less relevant. The frequency of exams is also very high. There is very short term of semester of about 120 days out of whic 30 days we are involved in exams.Other than that there lots of pressure of assignments presentation and lab file.

So the course curriculum here at IIT indore is best, Like I am studying electrical engineering here and there is no branch like ECE here separately like the other collegea so they have combined the electronics and electrical curriculum both in the same branch. They have included the courses from electronics too in the evey semester.

I choose Mechanical Engineering due to my passion for design. At IIT Indore, the courses are highly relevent and up-to-date, meeting industry standards. Subjects like solid mechanics are particulary vital in this field. Additionally, most of the subjects are accompanied by labs, offering practical insights. Exams occur twice in semester of 4 months, while quizzes are held very regularly , which make course little difficult.

The curriculum is not that much stressful to be. It helps in gaining knowledge for one. Few courses may have quizes in between the mid sem and end sem to make sure the students to revise a little about the syllabus. Mid sem and end sem exams for every course exists. In between, quizes or assignments are up to the wish of the professors. It never felt stressful.
