IIT Indore Admission 2024 Quick Updates
IIT Indore B.Tech Admission 2024 is based on JEE Advanced scores. JoSAA has released the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result. Check IIT Indore JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 here. Further, the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result will be out on June 27 (5 PM) and the last date for fee payment of Round 2 is July 01.
Other updates are as follows:
- For the IIT Indore M.Tech admission, the GATE COAP (Round 8) Seat Allotment will be done from June 27 to June 29, 2024.
- IIT JAM Fourth Admission List will be declared on June 27, 2024.
IIT Indore Admission 2024 will begin in June 2024. IIT Indore offers BTech as its flagship program. IIT Indore's flagship B.Tech program determines admission by JEE Advanced rank, followed by JoSAA counseling. The first-year fee for the IIT Indore BTech program is INR 2.34 Lakhs.
Apart from the BTech program, IIT Indore also offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses, namely BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD. Admission to various UG and PG programs at IIT Indore is done through national entrance exams. For getting eligible to enroll in the college you must have to clear the cutoff of jee main and get atmost 13000 rank if any one belongs to obc category as me. Application forms for the exams are released by nta and counseling are undertaken by josaa. There reservation benefits are as per the national policy.The jee mains and advance exam held once in year and the difficulty is pretty good.It held in the month of april to june .

- The availability of sports equipments at every hostel is very low.

Jee advanced is the entrance exam for all iits in India. After getting a better in score in jee advanced, counselling process will be held. By choosing better options, students will get a seat in iits according to their rank. There is a reservation for some casts(SC, ST, OBC) for concluding rank. - during our time the placements is not going good due to recession but the placement is generally good

You have to crack jee mains and then jee advance with some good rank. I got 2678 rank in my jee advance and 99.91 percentile in jee mains. If the person is SC/ST then just passing mark would be enough but try to go with general category because it gives you a good confidnece

- First thing I liked the most is the student faculty interaction. We have alloted a mentor which is our immediate senior and a faculty advisor.
- The faculties are very very much expert in their field with good HI Index. Also they encourage ug students to work with them
Dislikes
- There is relatively less placement opportunities. Getting internship in core sector is also a tough task.
- The infrastructure of the departments looks very bad. The sports facilities in the campus is also not good enough.

To get enrolled in IIT Indore you must have to clear JEE Advance. To get electrical engineering you have to secure around 3600 rank if you belongs to general category . The reservation is applied for sc/st/obc/pwd as per the national policy. The jee advance examination held every year.It is a very tough exam. One must have a very good command in physics chemistry and mathematics to clear it.

Admission:
To get admission in an IIT we all know we have tk give jee mains examination (Qualifying exam)first and then we have to clear jee advanced examination. On the basis of jee advanced rank we get admission in IITs. Along with that you should have a minimum 75 percent aggregate marks in your class 12 examination. Jee mains exam is cknducted by NTA two times every year first attempt in jan or feb and then second one in April. JEE advanced exam is conducted only once in a year by different IITs evey year and all the qualified students from the jee mains sit in the jee advanced. The cutoff for qualifying the JEE mains examination is around 90 percentile for the general category students. In JEE Advanced examination if a student from general category is able to get 30-35% marks then he/she will surely get admission in an IIT. - IIT INDORE has really good infrastructure since it is a relatively new campus as compared to other IITs.
- IIT INDORE has single bedroom hostel. So students don't have to share room with others.
Dislikes
- It is 20 km away from the main City Indore
- The campus is quite big and the EV faculties is not very efficient.
Admission:
Students can get admission in IIT INDORE through JEE MAINS followed by JEE ADVANCED exam. The councelling is done on the Josaa portal. Since it is a government institute so their is reservation available for the students of SC/ST/OBC/EWS students.

- Sports facilities are not that good comparing to Old IITs.
- IIT Indore is very far from the city. It's about 27 km from the city.

For getting admission into IIT's you have to clear 2 exams , one is JEE Mains that occur twice a year and if you clear the cut-off of your respective category then you can appear for JEE Advance, if you are able to clear the JEE Advance cut-off then you are all set for councelling for IITs. You can appear for JEE Advance only twice, once when you are in 12th class and second in next year. You can appear for JEE Mains 6 times in 3 consecutive years. Application form generally released in november and 1st mains held in last week of janurey. Application form fees for mains is Rs1000(for general student) and for JEE Advance fees is Rs 3200(for Boys) and Rs 1600(for girls).

- IIT INDORE has very beautiful campus and modern infrastructure along with good variety of greenery available in the campus and equipped with all the facilities required here.
- Research opportunities are good here as professors are very experienced and welcoming for the interested students
Dislikes
- College is at outskirts of Indore nearly 25 km away from main city that makes travelling difficult
- Less stores available inside the campus constraining students choices

Application fee for unreserved boys is 2800 and reserved and girls category is 1400. 3) Reservation are provided based on central government policies. 4)Jee advanced usually happens in may-june and is one of the toughest exam in the world. 5)More no. Of IITs can be opened to increase seats.
