Eligibility Criteria

A candidate to be eligible for the MTech program:

Must have a valid GATE score for that respective year.
In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in the case of SC/ST/PwD candidates. The above-mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
Only the primary mode of evaluation (CGPA or percentage) as mentioned in the qualifying degree certificate/mark sheet shall be considered while verifying eligibility. In case both CGPA and percentage are mentioned, then only CGPA would be considered.
Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa given by an individual Institute/university will not be allowed.
If CGPA is on a different scale than the 10-point scale, then it would be linearly mapped to a 10-point scale.

Students belonging to SC / ST/ PWD category are exempted from payment of tuition fees (Exemption is not applicable to QIP, DASA, ICCR, and MEA and External Registrants and Internal Registrants for PG & R Program).

The course is well planned and it is helping us after completing the course as well If we appear for any interview or any exam these courses are very related to exams and interview so the course is very well planned actually

Campus and Infrastructure of the college is beyond expectations.
Hostels are very well equipped with a high speed wifi and Hostel rooms are very well maintained.

Dislikes

Quality and taste of the mess food is below average.
There are a lot of snakes present in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

NITK curriculum is very much rigorous. But the curriculum prepares for student for the real life situations. After 4 years the student will become very knowledgeable and independent. Student can stand on their own legs after finishing the graduation in NITK. For a Semester, Exams are conducted 4 times in a semester. Two quizzes, Mid sem and End sem.
