About Arka Jain University
Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur is a private university that was established in the year 2017 by the Jharkhand State Legislature under “The ARKA JAIN University Act” and is recognized by UGC. It is the first state private university in the Kolhan region (comprising of three districts) of the state. The university is affiliated and recognised by AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, ASCO. The University is now the first NAAC Grade “A” private state university in Bihar, Jharkhand & west Bengal. It is an ISO 21001:2018 Certified “Educational Organization Management System” University and a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Arka Jain University has more than 5000+ students and 175-plus faculty members. The University consists of seven different schools which are offering 30+ courses in various streams such as engineering, technology, management, commerce, pharmacy, optometry, biotechnology, English, mass communication, fashion design, law, nursing at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. All the admissions into the UG, PG, Ph.D. courses are done primarily dependent on merit-based scores secured by the candidates in the qualifying degree or exam.
Candidate can apply for this University through offline and online mode whichever is possible and both modes are applicable for any course opted by the candidates.
Application Procedure:
- Those willing for the offline mode application have to collect the admission form and prospectus by paying the application fee at the admission office of the University.
- After taking the application form, fill in the details properly and correctly, and attach the necessary documents.
- After that submit the duly filled form with all necessary documents.
- 1st installment of fees should be deposited via demand draft/card/ online payment.
- Those willing for online mode applications have to download the form from the official website of the University and fill that by paying INR 500 (For SC/ST/OBC Category) & INR 1000 (For General Category).
- Then, the candidate has to visit the admission office with a duly filled form and submit all necessary documents to that office.
- Once documents are verified by the University admission officer, payment of 1st installment should be done with any feasible mode of payment.

The admission process was quite good they will guide you all the thing ,the college also provide free of coust college toure . The student should have atlist 60% maker or jee mains exam scoure .If the candidate have not given jee mains then they will take a entrance exam cat exam the cut-off will be 60% above.

I took admission on the basis of merit and AJUCET ( entrance exam). We can fill the application forms in the city office or college. They have also separate scholarships for reserved category students. There are two internal and an external examinations per semester.

- The behaviour of the faculty members is way too nice. One can go and freely dicuss their educational as well as personal doubts. They are always their to help and motivate the students
- The infrastructure of the college is also good providing you with different facilities like computer lab, gymnasium, fashion designing labs, moot court etc.
Dislikes
- The one thing that could be changed is that the college can engage with more for companies for placement for all the fields especially finance

Eligibility of the course would require you to be 12th pass student and the marking criteria would depend on the college but i guess its around 50% aggregate marks. The application form, application fee and structure are given all in the college official website. A student has to give 2 exams per semester and the difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Getting admission here is also easy and simple. The only criteria is you must have scored above 50% and from a recognized board. You can book your seat here by registering and paying the admission through university website. You just need to submit your documents and pay the admission fees and you are done with the admission process.

The eligibility criteria is intermediate The application form can be founded in dhatkidih office or in campus at Gamaria. There are two exams per semester one for 70 marks for externals and 20 marks for internals The difficulty well is moderate .

- Even though there's just one canteen but it is big and serves really good food.

- The campus is little far from the main city and therefore commuting sometimes becomes difficult.
Admission:
Well since it's a fairly new university admissions are granted to almost everyone who applies. The cut-offs are not high and therefore admissions to be honest are very easy. I applied online and the very next day, I was called for document verification. I was given the fees structure and as soon as I paid the fees, I was granted admissions. If one wants immediate admission then also it is possible here as one has to visit an admission counselor and they will take care of the rest.

- All the faculty have very good knowledge of all the subjects of our course. They are always ready to help. Faculty always motivate students by giving assignment or presentation so that they improve their skills .
Dislikes
- There is no proper bus facility. Students have to stand up and fight for seats.
- Only one library: which has books for every department: many books are not even available.

We can fill the application form both online and offline.At my time the fee for the application form was Rs 750 but now I don't know. You can also go to their office to fill the form which you have already done or you can also go to the campus.

There was no eligibility for the course You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on there website and from there campus or from there branch which is in Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur. No idea about details of reservation benefit as I didn't availed. The frequency and timing of exams are very soon they sem is of 6 months but they take with in 4-5 month only and the difficulties level is medium. They should increase scholarship amount and should look for more practical knowledge and marks should he given on that only.

The addmission is walk-in. No exam is needed just take your 12th and 10th Marksheet along with aadhaar card, rest they will help you with evey. It's a smooth process no lafda and all. The SC/SC have some fee waiver.

Arka Jain University offers various scholarships for UG and PG students on the basis of academics, sports, score/rank in entrance exam, early decision benefit, etc. Given below are the details for the same:
- Academic Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who have shown great academic performance. Students of all undergraduate, postgraduate and polytechnic courses can apply.
- Duration: One time applicable

Criteria for Sports Scholarship
- State Level: Members of champions or runners up team and those attaining first three position in individuals discipline/events organized by the directorate of sports Jharkhand state government.
- National Level: Members of winners and runners up team and those attaining first three positions in individuals discipline/events in national level competitions organized by the school games federation of India, national sports federation, sports authority of India, all India University sports control board shall be eligible for the scholarship.
- International Level: Scholarship shall be awarded in the Olympic events only.
- Age Limit:19 yrs for school level (as on 31st March of the performance year) 22yrs for College level (as on 31st March of the performance year)
- Tournament / Championship: Tournament /championship conducted by the Committee / Organization which is duly recognized by the International Olympic Committee will only be considered such as World Championship / Commonwealth Championship/ Asian Championship.
Note: A student who is the recipient of a sports scholarship by any other agencies of the central / state government will not be eligible to receive this scholarship.
- Scholarship based on performance at National level entrance test/AJUCET : Students of Polytechnic, B.Tech and MBA can apply for this scholarship.

Terms and Conditions
- Students can apply for scholarship in any of the above schemes whichever is higher.
- No student may hold more than ONE scholarship at a time.
- Scholarship is not transferable.
- In case of percentage rounding off will not be considered.
- In all categories, the scholarship is applicable one time only in the 1st year fees and scholarship amount will be waived off from the 2nd semester fees. In case the scholarship amount is more than the semester Fee then it will be adjusted in the third semester Fee.
- AJUSC decision will be final in any of the scholarship availed.
- Scholarship is applicable for only newly admitted students batch 2020 lateral admission incase of Alumni pass out.
- Apart from Alumni all lateral admission are not entitled to any above-mentioned scholarship.
Scholarship Application Process
- Scholarship applicants can obtain the Scholarship Application Form from Program office at University campus in the month of August / Sept. (Notice will be displayed in the notice board).
- A student may apply for a scholarship in any ONE of the scholarship categories listed.
- Scholarship will be offered after joining the program on verification of original documents.
- Duly filled scholarship application form along with Xerox of the supporting documents to be submitted in the program office at university campus as per mention date in the notice. No Form will be accepted after due date.
- Consideration will be given to applications that meet the eligibility criteria for each scholarship category provided the application is received before the specified deadline mentioned in the notice.
Scholarship Selection Process
- All applications received under Academics, Sports and Entrance Exam, EDB and Alumni scheme will be categories, scrutinized and presented to the University Scholarship Committee.
- The AJUSC review the eligibility of the applicant and approve the scholarship The decision of the AJUSC will be consider final and the name of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the University notice board.
- Scholarship acknowledgment slip would be provided to the students from the Program Office for future references.
