For NRI Category:-
The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 15000 per semester. Not applicable to foreign national students who are permitted to avail Institute’s International hostel.
Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.
Break up of extra charges:- INR 26500 (Mess charges, which may change depending on the price of food items in the future) and INR 21661 (Hostel seat rent)

- As the institute is very good that's why you can choose any course like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and IIT ISM Dhanbad is also very famous for mining engineering.
- If you do good work after the internship, you may also get pre placement offer.

- There is no washing machine here.that's a bad thing.no single rooms are offered to any students which is also a bad part.but overall the environment is nice.

Course curriculum is very organised. Keeping in mind that it is a IIT ,it has quite tough curriculum..but regular study can fetch good marks.teachers put their efforts.but one the biggest blunder it the unorganised schedule at the time of exam

Our collage have advanced labs which makes me prepare for real world applications or further academic pursuits. I think our collage has well experienced professers which makes our subjects bit more easier.the exams are little bit more easier compared to entrance exam.the frequency and exam timing are also great

As Civil is one of the latest branch at IIT ISM, it is less developed compared to other branches but the faculty is well experienced and the curriculum is really good. Apart from theoretical discussions, labs are conducted to give practical knowledge to the students.

B.tech is one of best course for helping to develop our country. Faculty student ratio is 17:140 P.hd+ net qualified Within 45 days first term exam and within 60 days next term exam had done. Exam was very difficult to pass because there Is relative marking.

- You are not allowed to leave the campus after 10 pm.

Faculty members are really helpful and very good I chose this course because I am interested in this course. faculty-student ratio is 30:1. All faculty members are phD holders. The exam is held twice a semester for 6 months.

I was always interested in civil engineering courses the science and Technology behind the enormous huge buildings and other engineering structures always amazed me how this was made and how it is standing on earth. the student-faculty ratio will be around 1::10. The faculty of this college is so qualified and full of knowledge .many of them are also doing their research simultaneously with his teaching. Their teaching is so amazing and full of knowledge. Term exams are so timely as they are according to the academic calendar which is released with every new year and everything happens according to that.

Faculty in our is quite good ,the process of explaining various concepts in quite interesting.Our Director also coducts various meeting for various departments and he himself interact with students in various award ceremony or on any event organised.
