IIIT Delhi BTech Admission 2024 is expected to start in June- July 2024, based on the JEE Mains score. JEE Mains (Session II) examinations will be conducted from April 1 to April 15, 2024. The results will be announced on April 25, 2024.

IIIT Delhi offers a BTech program in 8 different specialisations available in full-time mode. The institute grants admission to its BTech course based on the JEE Mains score followed by the JAC Delhi counselling. The cutoff for the IIIT Delhi is released for both the HS and OS candidates. The cutoff 2023 for the institute’s BTech opening and closing rank stood at 4137 rank and 30593 for the general admission.

IIIT Delhi BTech admission is offered to those candidates who have passed 10+2 with at least of 70% of marks with PCM as the major subjects. However, candidates who want to pursue BTech (CSD) must have UCEED scores. Students have to qualify for the national-level entrance exmainations like JEE Mains, and further need to undergo JAC Delhi counselling. The seats will be allocated by the UCEED and JAC Delhi.

  • To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 from CBSE Board with at least 70% marks or from its equivalent Institution
  • Candidate must have Physics, Maths, and Chemistry (PCM) as major subjects in class 10+2
  • Candidates must qualify JEE Main or UCEED examination to be eligible for admission.
  •  Interested candidates to apply in B.Tech (CSD) program, can seek admission with UCEED rank
  •  Those interested to apply in B.Tech (CS) can seek admission through class XII marks.

IIIT Delhi B.Tech Application Process

IIIT Delhi BTech admission is completely based on the JEE Mains examinations followed by the JoSAA counselling. Candidates scoring a valid rank in JEE Mains are eligible for admission into the BTech program at the institute. Usually, JoSAA releases 6 rounds of cutoff and seat allotment, and further, more 2 rounds are released by the CSAB counselling. The list contains the JEE Mains ranks secured by the candidates for each specialisations offered by the institute.

How to Apply for JEE Mains 2024?

Applying for JEE Mains 2024 is a four-step process that includes registration, filling out the application academic details and personal information, uploading the required documents, and paying the registration fee. Given below is a step-wise process for applying for the JEE Mains 2024:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Mains registrations, jeemain.nta.ac.in or jeemain.ntaonline.in
  • Log in using the details provided and fill in all the information asked in the application form.
  • The details to be filled include name, DOB, Gender, Nationality, State of eligibility, etc.
  • Candidates also will have the option to choose any 4 exam centres according to their preference.
  • Then, the candidates are required to scan and upload the documents and photographs 
  • The next step is to pay the JEE Main fees 2024 through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Take out a printout of the form for future reference. 

Note- The registration fee for the general candidate is INR 1000 and INR 800 (male and female). Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must pay the registration fee of INR 500.
