I have chosen CSB(computer science and bioscience) because i like the biology subject very much and want to do further researches in biology. The faculty:student ratio is nice, hence, college is less populated so, ratio is better than other colleges. The way the professors teach is very good, our college has one of the best faculty staff in Delhi. All have done phd from international universities. semester exams were about around four months and the exams were easy as the questions were from the slides taught by the faculty.

So i chose this course because i was interested in both computer science and biology . Faculty members are top notch . Almost all faculty members have done their PHD from very reputable colleges . It is a research oriented institute and faculty members will support you a lot in your research . Also the curriculum is better than other colleges like nsut , dtu ( for computer science) . Here you get to learn coding and concepts like DSA in the first year only. Also the faculty student is also good . For your branch specific subjects you will have one faculty for like 60 students , for common subjects its like one faculty for 300 students but students are divided in groups of 15-20 students and each group is assigned a teaching assistant. Teaching assistant can clear your doubts and guide you in tutorial sessions . Also exams are timely and they are a bit difficult as compared to other colleges but if u study properly u can score well .

I had a deep interst in computer science and this college provides excellent ciurriculum to study computer science that's why i choose this course , IIIt delhi has good faculty;student ratio which provide a great learning environment, The highly qualified professors use innovative teaching methods. IIIT delhi has higly qualified professors from prestigious indtitutes of world, and they have veryu unique style of teaching. IIIT delhi has very tough curriculum in terms of studies like we have mid sem, end sem, and weekly quizes, labs, assignment, these things makes curriculum tough.

Course curriculum and faculty members are decent. Faculty is well qualified from top universities of the world. Most of the faculty is PhD qualified. The faculty student ratio is very good. There is an average time of almost one and half months between midsemester exam and endsemester exam which is quite good.

Course curriculum is good but the only disappointment is the plagiarism policy which is kind of frustrating which because it can be possyif a person hasn't cheated in exam and still get penalized for the plag

This is a great course to pursue as CSB is basically 95% of courses of CSE and some courses of CB. Research papers in this field motivated me to choose this course for my Btech. Faculties here have international touch and all are phd. In his college quizzes, assignments, mid seems, etc happen very frequently. So, one might feel work load here but this is for a good cause if seen in the long run. Exams are easy if you are consistent in classes. Attendance in some courses matters here, well that totally depends on the professor.
Everything is good, the courses are well structured, and interesting, we have a smart faculty, only two problems of this college are that the fees is very high as being a government college and also the academic burden is too much.
Truth be told, n=both CSB and ECE at IIT Delgi will be excellent academic decisions because IIIT Delhi is well-known for imparting quality education. You should consider your own inlciation whole choosing between CSB and ECE rather than the newness of the branch and its credibility because, at the end of the day, your interests matter more than anything. You won't be able to excel at even an old and well-established branch if you have no interest in it while may excel in a new branch if you are genuinely interested in it. So, the opportunities you will be offered depend on your passions.
You can go through the course descriptions mentioned on the institute's website. CSB might be a relatively new branch but IIIT Delhi has been offering biology courses. You can check the profiles of the faculty.
Remember, a new branch may impose certain disadvantages but so will a branch that does not intrigue you genuinely. There won't be any major difference in terms of higher studies and placements.
So, choose wisely!
