Fests are just awesome if don't believe just search about dtu fest on internet also this year engifest'23 is organised and approx 3 lakh students visited dtu to attend this fest
It's fest ... the fest are the best ( the one which happen in feb and march ) and also it's people .

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that the canteen is the worst part of DTU.
Some of the faculty has very bad attitude towards teaching and their behaviour towards students.

Delhi's second IIT, DTU

Likes

The campus life is amazing and the campus is really beautiful.
The campus has many places to get food , 3 canteens and also 2 cafes. That comes really handy as we can eat whatever we want

Dislikes

The distance between main gate and classroom. We have to walk 15 minutes to get to our class and another 10 minutes from class to labs.
The location. The college is in rohini and that area is very unsafe at night

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

DTU: A college where dreams get into reality

The library is very good discipline is maintained it has activated amount of books for both curriculum as well as learning purposes
Fest crowd and college life is the best in this college

Dislikes

Curriculum is very outdated it as subjects like microprocessor in interfacing which are very outdated
Semester exams are very tough it's not easy to to pass and get good marks you have to study very thoroughly to good marks

Placement Experience:

Placements of DTU are very good. But in the recent years placements have fallen due to the recession going on. The average package here is about 18 lakh per annum while my branch engineering physics offers the median package of 800000 per anum the highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum when the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum and the median was 7.5 lakhs approx 40% of a students gets placed on the campus and 20% gets of campus placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job and contribute to the goodness of the society. Every good company like Amazon Facebook Flipkart Google Apple adobe come in our college to provide placement opportunities number of offers made by 40 out of every 100 students

Different carrer opportunities that college provides apart from Engineering like Analytics and Consulting, there are dedicated socities for all.
Access to alumni network, great seniors working all around the world in different sectors, so anyone who wants to be tech, consulting, analytics, operations, guidance is available with just a message.

Dislikes

Research Opportunities, Only for advance academics research but still helpful in securing Admission in foreign universities.

Placement Experience:

Placements have been good till 2022, because of the market condition there has been decrease in the number of placements at campus. Companies like Google, Atlassian, Zomato, Oyo, Sprinklr have been visiting the campus regularly, every year. HIghest Placement have been 55-60 lacs in India by Zomato and atlaasian. For year 2024, 60 - 65% of the students have been placed.

Likes

The best part is the campus life and lush green and huge campus. You have so much of freedom in the campus .
Also the campus events including engifest etc are so overwhelming

Dislikes

Things take a little too much in our college.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students get eligible for campus placements. Every big giant visits DTU for placements google, microsoft, apple, blackrock etc. and more that 85% students gets placed in campus. The highest pakage as for 2023 was offered by palatir of 1.7cr per annum and for domestic is of 83L and total number of offers were 2400. The average pakage of the college is 16Lac for 2023. and 85% were placed on campus. My plans are to pursue higher education.

Dtu Opportunities and struggle

The societies the extra curricular I went to iit kanpur and roorkee in my first semester only which is a great deal for it is only because of the outreaching societies in dtu
The placement stats. I have no fear of not getting placed in dtu I can sleep with thinking that the money I spend is worth it and I am going to do somthing good in my life

Dislikes

Peer group I don't like the people in here most of them are selfish and don't care about others they are self centric
The locality . The locality is shahbad dairy which is not a very good place there are no cafes and hanging places

Placement Experience:

Dtu performs out of the league in placement numbers the average package is around 16pla which is very good considering the intake of 2500 students per year. The students are eligible for placements in 4th year but the internship opportunities starts form 3rd year only with ppos and all. 384 companies visited our campus with around 2500 offers. The highest package is 1.80cpa in a tech profile company is amazon. Average is around 16lpa. 97%of students got placed. I want to have a tech placements because there are ample of opportunities for tech placements

THE GREAT FACULTY PROVIDED BY THE COLLEGE, THE ENVIRONMENT, PEER GROUPS , CLUBS , SOCIETY, FESTS AND COURSES
The campus is very good and pleasant with nature all around

Dislikes

The campus is in a isolated area with very few places to visits nearby
No hostels are provided for day scholar so be careful

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester , many companies visited in the year 2022-2023 325+ companies FAANG , WITCH , many finance companies and mechanical and electrical specialised companies. Highest package was 82.3 lakhs domestic, average was 16.5 lakhs with total package offered are 2050+ and students placed 1900+ on campus.

Why you should choose DTU or not

Delhi technological University is Not very strict about 75% attendance
Sports complex is very big you can play almost every big sports here

Dislikes

It's is located in a bad locality of delhi
DTU does not have any good spot around it where you can hangout with your friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

Engineering physics course is available in top 5,7 college in all over india, IIT D IIT M, IIT B,etc .Some facilities are good some are not , placement is not so good comparatively to tech branches as well as the curriculum is tough

Campus is good vast and green and very much beautiful
Attendance policy if.75% is not very strict,

Dislikes

There are lots of monkeys and dogs in campus which sometimes drag students
There are some labs in which some instrument are damaged and not working properly

Delhi Technological University is famous for it's good Placement record which was even good during this recession period. Recently Uniqlo , a tech company hired four students from computer science department to work in Tokyo.

The campus life of this college is very good.
We sometimes get breaks between classes.

Dislikes

The food at the canteen is bad. Don't try it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was given this course based on my percentile in JEE MAINS. The faculty is very experienced and highly qualified. The method of teaching is really good. They keep the class interactive. Exams are taken frequently.
