- Curriculum is very outdated it as subjects like microprocessor in interfacing which are very outdated
- Semester exams are very tough it's not easy to to pass and get good marks you have to study very thoroughly to good marks
Course Curriculum Overview :
My branches in engineering physics since I have very much interest in physics I choose this branch it has subjects like quantum physics optics relativity which are very much interesting so the curriculum is very good and it makes the students industry ready but it also has subjects or courses like microprocessor in interfacing which are very outdated and very difficult to get passed in subjects like these. Getting good marks in semester exams is very difficult well the results are based on the relative performance of the class but the performance level is very high of each student here
Placement Experience :
Placements of DTU are very good. But in the recent years placements have fallen due to the recession going on. The average package here is about 18 lakh per annum while my branch engineering physics offers the median package of 800000 per anum the highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum when the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum and the median was 7.5 lakhs approx 40% of a students gets placed on the campus and 20% gets of campus placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job and contribute to the goodness of the society. Every good company like Amazon Facebook Flipkart Google Apple adobe come in our college to provide placement opportunities number of offers made by 40 out of every 100 students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution ki here is very high approximately 10 lakh for 4 years it also includes the hostel charges and MESS fees. The reason for this hiking in fees is because of the reason that the students are not much active and does not raise their voice against the system. Students does get scholarships on the basis of their annual income of their parents. Reserved seats students gets benefits in the scholarships. I have been a part of the society called pratibim where I enjoyed my role as an actor vocalist instrumentalist so there are very much opportunities available in the campus where you can enjoy the rolls responsibilities and gets rewards as well.
Campus Life :
Overall campus life is very good here it's the very basic reason why I choose it you over any other college the fests conducted here are on very high level. Libraries are well settled they have good amount of books for curriculum as well as learning prospects. Classrooms are well equipped with good technology based equipments. There are many clubs like sahitya DTU Times nrityangana pratibimb for every options like dancing singing rapping photography filming writing helping, etc.
Admission :
The process of getting into this college is through the JEE mains exam which is given after the 12th or single drop here you can basically find the application form on the JEE mains site the exam has been conducted by NTA. Delhi students gets 85% result seats in this college. Difficulty of JEE mains exam is very good. Students does get negative marks if taken the exam lightly. Improvement can be done in the counselling process where students gets rejected if they commit a very my minute mistake. Reserved seats of students belonging to OBC SC ST as well as single girl child does get reservation benefits in this college.
Faculty :
My best as 124 students and for each course we have one teacher as well as 2 or 3 assistants so in total we have like 5 courses in each semester so the faculty two student ratio is about 125: 15. Professors are very highly rated as they have high quality of experience and knowledge as well they mentor students as well and help them get out of trouble if any. The maintain healthy relationship between teacher and students so that students can easily approach them and ask them about it.
