Fests are just awesome if don't believe just search about dtu fest on internet also this year engifest'23 is organised and approx 3 lakh students visited dtu to attend this fest
It's fest ... the fest are the best ( the one which happen in feb and march ) and also it's people .

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that the canteen is the worst part of DTU.
Some of the faculty has very bad attitude towards teaching and their behaviour towards students.

Too large and scattered campus (not a big issue, everyone becomes habitual)

Placement Experience:

Dtu has a good track record of providing placements to its students . You can sit in placements from 6th semester however you can get on campus internships from 4th semester onwards. Around 300 comapanies visit the college for on campus placements. In the concluded placement session almost 1850 students were placed out of 2000 students, rest 150 either opted for higher education or startups. Highest package was 1.83crore per year and average package is 12-13 lpa.

Campus Life is absolutely excellent in all terms. The campus is very large and we have huge sport complex with space t. We have several fests like engifest, food fest, Diwali mela with decent expenditure organised every year which acts like a bonus.
Infrastructure is also good with there being all basic things in classrooms.

Dislikes

Fees is very high for a government college.
There are too many monkeys in the campus.

Placement Experience:

From the third year the placement companies come on campus. A lot of big companies like Google, Amazon,etc as well as small companies visit campus each year. Highest package recorded was 82.05 lpa in 2023 and average package is 16 lpa. Placement ratio varies from 88-93 %. My plan is to get placed in a decent software based company after getting degree.

In college you meet very different kind of people from different regions that expand your life as well.
Campus life was very good, canteens, hostels, sports complex, classes, faculty, students, buildings, labs all was very good.

Dislikes

EEE branch is too much for me and faculty was very very strict in this branch of DTU

Placement Experience:

Many people see DTU as a brand that is completely TRUE! Placements are done smoothly and very actively. Many top MNCs like Microsoft, Qualcomm, etc. Visited and many students get placed in others. The average was 9 lakhs per annum. Around 70% got placed. After a Btech degree get a Job or MBA Study abroad or Launch Startup by solving problems.

6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement and can apply for jobs because big companies like Microsoft, Google and others visit the campus every year. The highest package can go up to 1 crore and the mean package is 20 lakh Almost 90 percent of students get placed

Internship season starts at the 3rd-year start and most of the company start coming in July and last year. No. Of companies visiting are more for placement and they give opportunities to mostly all the branch students.

7th sem students become eligible for college placement highest package goes around 50 L whereas the average is around 15L for branch ece. Me would preferably go for placement here at my college. 80% of student get placement

Internships at Delhi Technological University ECE branch

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th, sem students become eligible to sit for campus placements. All major companies visit our campus from July-August till the very next year but major big companies come till December and then from Jan.For ECE core we have Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductor, Synopsys, Google Hardware, Microsoft Hardware, Ciena, STM microelectronics, Western Digital, Jio, Airtel Samsung, among others. The best package is offered by the Core companies starting from 8lpa to 64 LPA. On average, a core student can easily get a 17lpa provided he studied regularly and did the core subjects well. They offer a variety of profiles from analog, digital, mixed circuit, RND, applications eng. etc. Nearly all students get placed either in the core, Tech, or nontech companies as we are the only branch reliable for most (nearly 95% ) of the companies. Many students also prefer to go for higher ed. in the states or other they too get a preference for being from a tier 1 college like DTU

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is the key attraction of it , with a average package of about 10lpa and highest of about 60lpa domestic. About 500 companies visit our college every year. My plans after getting my degree are to do a well paid job as a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a passion for electronic and communication engineering that's why I choose this branch but later on my interest was completely changed towards the coding and ML and DL the faculty was very good they all are highly qualified the exams are held as mid term and end term twice in a semester.
