- The most attractive thing about nit jamshedpur is it's placement record.Nit Jamshedpur provides 99% of placement to his students by the companies.
Dislikes
- One thing is that the infrastructure of nit jamshedpur is not that much developed although new building are in a continue process.
- There is not much place to explore in the college because of infrastructure. One have to go outside the campus for buying anything.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My branch is electronics and communication engineering.I selected this branch because from class 12 th I have a interest in semiconductor industry whose relevance is increasing day by day like all the chips are made up of semiconductor application.In our college there are labs for the respective field where one can do all the projects.
Internships Opportunities :
Student get internship opportunities after the 2nd year but many companies also offer internship in the second year also fir the female students. Many students get PPO i.e Pre Placement Offer during their internship session. Many companies like reliance, Amazon, Flipkart provide internship offer to students by on campus and off campus as well . Project in DSA is the necessary thing to get join in many companies. Stipend provide is around 30000 that varies company to company all depend.
Placement Experience :
Nit jamshedpur is famous mainly for its placement records. one can easily see the placement data in the official site . Front the second year onwards (5th sem) students are eligible for internship and in 4 th year student get placed in different companies. Companies like Deloitte, Bajaj, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits in our college as recruiter. The Highest package of this year is 83 lpa and the average package is around 10 lpa . 99% of students get placed each year approximately. After my degree I think of to clear Gate exam and placed in ONGC and in B option I also do my coding work to get placed .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fir the first semester the fee was 122000 and for the second sem the fee was 42500 after a proper fee remission depending on the family income. There are a number of scholarship available for different category students to be filled.
Campus Life :
The overall campus at nit jsr is good for me . Talking about the clubs of nit jsr , there are many clubs like singing, dancing, beat breaker, coding club, artwork club and many more . The infrastructure is not that much developed but the process is going on. In 2024 , a new gym opens at nit jsr recently. Further talking about the sports facilities, there are many sports played at nit jsr like badminton, volleyball, cricket, football, tennis, basketball, lawn tennis etc and our college also organised the inter nit sports this year in which many events take place . There are a lot of extra co curricular activities also . There are a many fest organised by the student council of Nit jamshedpur
Hostel Facilities :
There are There are six girls hostel and 8 boys hostel in nit jamshedpur. The hostel facilities are average. For boys there are 2 seater room for 1st year students and after first year ,boys get single seater room . Fir girls, there is 3 seater room for the whole BTech.
Admission :
For taking admission to any iit / nit / iiit ,all must be go through the process of jossa counselling. one must pass the JEE exam for taking admission into these colleges .There is a 3 hr paper exam of jee mains for taking admission in nit college and after selection one have to go through jossa counseling.After the Completion of jossa counselling, college release the offline admission process and after offline admission in college the classes are continued.
Faculty :
Well ,as my first year has been completed. According to me till now , the faculty members are quiet good in all aspects like teaching, supporting etc. They also give motivation whenever needed. When someone has to do some projects they approach to the respective professors as well.
