Remarks :

No. The college is an institute of national importance. It has got great infrastructure. The campus is green and open. It has got easy access to railway and road network. The placement stats are great as i have already mentioned.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 8 semesters occurring in a span of 4 years. Every acedmic year has got 2 semester i.e. Autumn and spring semester. Every semester has got 2 exams namely Mid semester and end semester . Mid semester are of 30 marks while 50 marks gets decided via end semester, rest 20 marks are awarded on the basis of assignment and quizzes.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunity of our college is very good. Infact out of all NIT'S in our country it comes under top -10 NIT'S in terms of placement. The students are offered very good LPA. The companies visiting are also very reputed. Yes, they provide internship opportunity for all year students.

College Events :

The college has got great environment of fests and events. Once the freshers enter the college campus they are made aware of our college acheivemnt and placement stats in a few days. Then there is a CDS exhibition , cultural and dramatic society, for the freshers. There are many events called robotics workshop , guest lecture. There are several technical teams where students can showcase their technical skills. The college has got a technical fest-OJASS, a cultural fest- CULFEST, a sports fest-URJA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible. The college being a institute of national importance, has a fixed fee structure decided by the central government. The fee are given for 8 semesters during the course of 4 years. The semester fee is around 1,04,000 per semester. This sums upto 8,32,000 fir total degree . The ST,SC reserved students are given relaxation on total fees .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't availed any scholarship but i know about few. The college gives a relaxation in total fees as i have mentioned already. The general students having annual family encome below 5 lac gets a relaxation of 2/3rd on the tuition fees. The sc St students get this facility in full. There are several other scholarship called Malli mastan scholarship, op jindal scholarship.

Campus Life :

The institute has got a good sports facilities. It has got separate ground for football, cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball. The students indulge a lot in sport activities. The labs in our college has got a great scope of development . They provide a good education to students.

Hostel Facilities :

Well let me tell you the hostel facility of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is one of the best in all NIT'S. It has got humangous hostel . There are two mega hostels. There are separate hostel for girl students. The mca, PhD, Mtech students gets separate hostel as the institute is spread in huge area.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our college has got a strong alumni network. The alumni association is so strong that they are in direct touch with our college. There is an annual fest called alumni meet . There is also a golden or silver Jubilee batch meeting .

Admission :

There is an all india level engineering entrance examination, called JEE-MAIN. There is a cut-off for each category i.e. General, ST,SC. Thereafter, merit list gets prepared and admission process starts under JOSAA.

Faculty :

The faculty are very supportive. They are Highly qualified from good college of our nation. Some have even graduated from foreign college. They bring a good environment of education via there educational skills. They support students in the research field as well as in practical field.

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

From semester 6, we're eligible. There are around 250 companies visit every year and this is increasing every year. The offers made are more than 900, with a wide range of packages. 73LPA is the highest package. And 15 LPA is the average package. The percentage of placement is 97.2

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
