NIAMT RANCHI FULL REVIEW

Dislikes

  • It is not autonomous, affiliated to JUT and have to follow JUT rules

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose BTech in this college because this college had a good placement record and a good return on investment. The faculty vs students ratio is average. All facilities in this college are highly qualified and had 20+ years of experience. Terms exams are difficult but not too your can pass depending upon the subjects.

Internships Opportunities :

This college offers good internship opportunities. Some students get offers from IITS for internships. In the Third year, all students have to do a project depending on their branch. This is compulsory.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Vedanta, jsw, Tata Motors, and Tata Steal visit the campus. Vedanta offers the highest package 14 LPA and an average 9 LPA. 100% of students get selected from the past few years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Fee hike policy of the college is too good. And there is only 1 scholarship offered by the college which is given to the student who belongs to the top 10 % percentage of the college. But you can apply for an e kalyan scholarship from the Central government.

Campus Life :

The annual fest of this college is JINKS PRANAV. Jinks represents the cultural fest and Pranav represents the technical fest. Talking about sports this college had a too big ground in which students play cricket, football, and volleyball and every Sunday a tournament is conducted. Its college also had Kartavya.

Hostel Facilities :

In the first year, we will get a double sharing room. Fully furnished and with an internet connection with unlimited data. Meel is too good and students can change the menu. The registration process is too easy you will have the room at the time of reporting and you have to live in a hostel.

Admission :

Since this college is a GFTI, you first need to take the JEE exam and apply for the JoSAA and CSBA counseling. There is no state or Kota reservation. This college follows the JoSAA and CSBA reservation policies for category reservations.

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
