Course Curriculum Overview :

The College Curriculum is Great. The atmosphere of Teaching inside DJLHC is nostalgic.The best Desicion for you to Join the Core branches. Some Improvements required in improving the Infrastructure of College and making it a Close campus.

Class Size : 98Course Fees : INR 105000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Mainly interships offered during the Summer break and 6 month program. The Interships oppurtunities from various IITs/NITs and From Industries like TATA, Atlansia, Lafarge, Amazon and Cognizant. Projects will be shared by joining the team.

Placement Experience :

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution Fees for Gen/OBC/EWS student is 62.5K per semester having Income>5 LPA. Tution Fees for Gen/OBC/EWS student is 41K per semester having Income Less than 5 Lpa but More than 1lpa. Tution Fees for SC/ST/PWD &(GEN/OBC/EWS having Income< 1lpa pa) students is 0 per semester. Mess & Hostel Fees include 33K per semester for all Students. Scholarships like NSP and Category wise Scholarship available also for Girls specially

Campus Life :

Mainly there are Three major fest Celebrated every year. 1. CULFEST Which is The cultural Fest of NIT JAMSHEDPUR. 2. OJAAS Which is The Technical Fest. 3. URJA which is the Sports Fest of This Institution.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Facilities are very Good and it is well maintained and Developed. The HOSTEL Campus is near and clean and every boys will get single room from 2nd yr. There are no Single room for Girls during hostel life. Boys studing first year have to share their room with their roommate in a single room. Mess Food is Awesome. More than 3 days Chicken is offered and Very special dishes in the weekends..

Hostel Fee : INR 650000 per year

Admission :

Admission is done from Josaa & csab Counseling. U need a Decent rank in JEE Mains From your Category to get selected In This NIT. The Cutoff is not so high as compared to other NITs as it is an underrated Institute despite having 100% core placements.

Faculty :

Faculty members in our department is Very Good. We have Beautiful teachers and all are PHD graduates from India's top IITs so they indulge their experience in our Academic study. Some professors are very strict but they will give you good marks if you follow classes regularly and submit all th assignments in proper date.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market.
