- GOOD REPUTATION IN THE COUNTRY , GOOD ALUMNI NETWORK , FACULTY IS NOT VERY GOOD BUT ACCEPTABLE QUALITY.
- Hostels for 1st year students are good but later its not very plesant , there are supportive seniors who are there for us whenever we need them and the clubs often have hiring wherein we can enchance our skills .
Dislikes
- FACULTY CONSTANTLY TROUBLING FOR ATTENDANCE
- SOME FACTULITY TARGET CERTAIN STUDENTS AND MAKE THEIR LIFE MISERABLE
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculm needs some updates and new technologies must be thought to the stduents . Also teaching styles needs to be imporved. We studnets constantly need to refer to youtube videos to undertstand topics as its is very difficult to understand them in class. The syylabus is done at normal pace for first 2 months but later 2 months are just made ot go in a flash
Internships Opportunities :
There are some internship opportunites in the college which speicfic branches like Computer Science and Engineering and ECE branch does conduct, but off campus internships are to be found by the stduent themselves.
Placement Experience :
The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college does provide financial assistance to many students based on their income level and all . There is a schaolarship called as GP Birla Scholarship for that very purpose. Financial assistance can be bought by taking scholar loan from SBI bank present within campus . Employment opportinities are pretty limited
Campus Life :
The campus is good for those who orefer to have a quiet and life away from all the voices opf the city. There isnt really anything nearby the college . zomato and swiggy sometimes turn out ot be the lfesaver of students here. The fests are decent but tehre isnt any night ife in the campus . Food stalls are limited and are highly overcharged
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is good but only for 1st year students . On 2nd year onwards it isnt rrally very good. The room are on sharing basis, BIT must work on giving single room from 2nd yr onwards. The room size is small having 2 beds , 1 study table and 1 chair a rack and a window rest everthing you need to arrange
Admission :
The adimission process is pretty tiresome. It will easily take up a day as the admisitration is fast but only for NRI candidates . Whereas for others you need to clkear the JEE exam and geta rank of below 25 thousand to get a admission in CS branch.
Faculty :
The faculty is good overall. Some professors like Abhinav Tandon and Fahad Sir put their everything at stake just to help you and make you understand things well. Faculty like SS Padhi might seem strict at first but he is the man who teaches concepts in a way you could even teach your kids. The workshop faculty is very troublesome specially if you are a male the carpentry class is going to be horrible for you .
