We have a large lush green campus.the campus is very clean and beautiful.
Our new academic building is just breathtaking

Because of the college being very old the hostel facilities are not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is quite hard as we have two exams one is midsem and the other is end sems .in the end sems we get holidays to preparebur in the midsems we hardly get any time to prepare the midsems are of 30 marks and endems are of 50 marks and 20 marks are for teachers evaluation

Class Size : 118Course Fees : INR 1000000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides several internship opportunities to both girls as well as boys .moreover there are some internship opportunities for girls even in second year .some of the companies being delloite ,Flipkart,Amazon,etc

Placement Experience :

Tej placenta of our college is among the best in case of NIT'S as even during the recession our college 's placement ratio and average and mean packages didn't suffered much downfall and several companies offered very large packages to students of our college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The overall fees for semester is divided into 3 parts one is hostel fees the other being the mess fees and one is the semester fees. There are various scholarships for different categories and is the annual family income is less.than 500000 we get redemption in semester fees also

Campus Life :

Tej clubs here are very active whether the technical clubs or the cultural clubs all are always ready to work and very effectively participate int the events being organised by the council.we have two big events one is OJASS the technical event .

Hostel Facilities :

For boys we have single sharing for 1st year and after that we get single rooms the hostels are not upto the mark the mess food is average .tej mess menu is quite balanced for both veg and non veg eating students The registration is made on the same day as we register for our sems.

Hostel Fee : INR 17000 per year

Admission :

I have JEE MAINS exam and got 98.8 percentile in it so nit jamshedpur was the best option for me that I chose in the JOSAA counselling after the allotment we had to do physical reporting at the college premises the registration day was very hectic and tiring as we had to go to different rooms one by one to complete several formalities.

Faculty :

The faculties are highly qualified .In the recent papers many of our professors were ranked in The list of top researchers. The teachers are very dedicated for their subjects and they always wants to make us learn and understand the concepts very well.Some teachers are however a bit strict and they don't want any sort of Indiscipline from our side

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR REVIEW

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market. The avg for my branch i.e production and industrial engineering was 8.26 lpa . Avg for cs was 20.24 lpa and the highest package offered was 82 lpa . Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
