Good college life. Teachers are really good. Also there is diversification of students.

Dislikes

Quality of the teachers are not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

2 years back there were only two courses. But now they have 3 new courses in both cse and ECE which is a specialization in some particular domain. So that is quite good in this term. But the teachers are not that well qualified for the courses.

Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As previoimentioned . From last year only companies are visiting for internships . Before that it was visiting for full time roles only . Do not that much of data is present . But you can expect an internship with stipent of >=20,000 per month.

Placement Experience :

Now from last year companies also started visiting for third year students for internship. Otherwise you are only eligible in your fourth year. Companies like Google, atlassian, Intuit, ibm, jio, infordge, hyperverge and many more visits. Last year highest package was 83 lakhs offerd by atlassian. Average was around 11 lakhs. About 92 percent were placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee is about two lakhs per year. Hostel fees is about thirty thousand per year. Mess fees is about thirty six thousand per year. So approximately for the four year course it will be approx 12,50,000. All the financial aids are on college website. Choose the best for you.

Campus Life :

Campus life is quite good. Technical and non technical fest happens yearly. Also there are many clubs for debating, coding, chess, badminton, dance, singing etc. classrooms are really good and in free time you can go and study or do whatever you want. It will be open 24x7.

Hostel Facilities :

So basically our hostels are in a newly established locality. So buildings and rooms are very new. So it is very good in these terms. Also there is wifi available for each room. So basically you will be given a flat with two rooms and in it five students have to leave. Mess is not that good.

Admission :

So only one way to get entry in it . That is through jee mains. You got to score about 97 percentile if you are a general category student. No reservations policy in IIIT colleges. Admission will be through josaa.

Faculty :

Faculty members are good. They are really supportive except some. But they have not that much of knowledge. So you gotta interact with all the teachers and choose who give the best advice and suits you the most.

Interview Experience :

No any group discussion or interview or written test is required to secure admission in this college . You have to give jee mains examination and based on your result you have to participate in josaa councelling and feel your preferences and based on that you get the college.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Placement Experience:

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR REVIEW

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market. The avg for my branch i.e production and industrial engineering was 8.26 lpa . Avg for cs was 20.24 lpa and the highest package offered was 82 lpa . Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
