Good for someone who likes a peaceful environment.
Hostels are pretty good and amazing to stay.

Dislikes

No basic sports facilities and equipments.
Electricity cuts are one of the issues of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because my rank didnt allow me to get into CSE ( no interest in ECE ) , Faculty to student ratio is 64:1 . We have teachers from multiple IITs and respected colleges ensuring proper quality education to students. Exams are timely held with exams being moderate to tough in difficulty.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 143000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internships opportunities available from 2nd year , with companies coming with internship for 6 months or 2 months with stipends like 50k,80k etc. Many students grab these internships in 2nd year.

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester students are elgibile for placements. there are companies visiting such as deloitte , jio , nvidia ,etc . For the 2022-2023 batch the placements were pretty good . The average package stood at 17.01 lakhs for CSE and 16.42 for ECE students. Highest package was 83.38 lakhs.Around 90% of the eligible students get placed here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The semester wise fees structure include 110000 as tution fees [ for the 2023 batch onward ] fees got hiked by 20,000 as it was 90,000 for 2022 batch.There is an institute fee of 15000 , as well as 18000 for hostel and mess fees making the total semester 1,61,000. There's no scholarship provided by college side , however there are students who avail scholarship from external sources such as state scholarships and national scholarships.

Campus Life :

Ephemere was last big fest that was conducted in 2023 , College is almost negligible with less to no fests and event being conducted , there is library which is opened till the academic hours around 6 pm , not every book is available here. Classrooms have basic necessities. There is lack of sports equipments and a proper playing area or group for students make the condition worse for students. There are many clubs and groups run by our seniours such as Coding clubs , culturual clubs etc

Hostel Facilities :

Quality of rooms are upto the mark , private or separate bathrooms are attached to room. MESS food quality is as poor as it can be , needs to get improved to a large extent. Registration process for hostels in simple , just go through the process of admission and once u visit college u will be alloted hostels.

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

I took JEE MAINS to get admission here in IIIT RANCHI, JEEM is held in 2 sessions , mostly january and april , one has to achieve atleast 95-96% to get admission here,One can also avail reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
