Hectic schedule, there are so many classes on some days .

Course Curriculum Overview :

New to the system, everything here seemed quite unfamiliar. Moreover the faculties here are more research oriented but they do solve doubts and guide when needed. They are so much cooperative and care a lot. Some even call us to their quarters and talk with us , pamper us. They are caring .

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 260730 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is very flexible and considers all sorts of family backgrounds ranging from poor to high class families providing exemption in fees when and wherever required. The system here takes into account ones personal background, so that no body faces any issues while payment.

Campus Life :

Life here at IIT KANPUR is chill and full of freedom. There are seniors who are there with you and guide you all over your course of time. They help you whenever and wherever you face any difficulties. Moreover, there are many clubs and societies here for overall development of an individual.

Admission :

To enter into IITs one needs to qualify JEE Mains as well as JEE Advanced and has to clear 12th boards from any board including state boards. One can find the application form on the internet and can prepare for the same from any coaching institute or by self study. Thereafter counseling takes place and colleges are allotted as per ranks and no. of seats available.

All about Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of IITK is great. Every year many 1cr+ packages as well as international packages are offered by top companies to students. The placement percentage is also increasing every year. The students become eligible to apply for companies after 3rd year ie. after 6th semester. The highest package offered was 4cr per annum while the average package was 22lacs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good paying job and start working.

There campus placements are very impressive. But in our branch the placement have not been started because it is new branch but it have very promising hopes of good employment in the upcoming years. The optimistic IITian

Placement Experience:

The college offers various placement opportunities. Many companies come and take people. It's usually starts in the month of December in the final year. I can tell about my branch average package is 33 lakhs and about some 90 lakh is highest package. Various tech non teach companies come like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler etc The minimum salary offered is 6 lakh per annum. People can easily get placement outside college because of IIT tag.

Course is relevant but it maybe little bit hectic in starting. Maths courses are lot theoretical than JEE where you only have to calculate and no matter how. Here you have to write a mathematical essay on a question and essay should be to the point too

The LIFE IN IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very impressive.From 3rd year onwards students are eligible campus placement.The Students having CPI 7 ARE eligible for campus placements , they wil not see only academics,they will also see in which they have participated,what are they capable in college programs in achieving, does he have leadership qualities or not , these many things they observe while doing campus placements . There are many companies visited to our campus, i will mention some of them like Google, Amazon, Zomato, Microsoft, TCS , ETC... In each branch nearly 150 to 200 offers are made .In my college the last year highest package is 8.9 crores and the average pakage is above 35 lakhs .The percentage of students getting campus placements is 89percentage .And my plan is getting the job in campus placements

Life after JEE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as i loved mathematics. And i was eligible to take this course on the basis of jee rank. The faculty student ratio is about 11.This is a top tier institute in India and hence the faculty are highly qualified with post doctorate degrees in thier respective domain from well known universities.They teach in asuch a way that ignites my curiosity in that course.We are taught some courses out of our discipline so we can explore more things.Mid sem exams are held after 2 months of starting of semester followed by end sems after other two months.quizes are held on certain dates keeping into consideration the convenience of students as well as the faculties.
