Likes

The faculties are very experienced and the environment is very good for gaining knowledge if individual is interested.
The sports facilities are very good all equipments for sports are provided by the institute. Also coaches help to learn things properly.

The competition everywhere is very high everywhere clubs, studies, sports ,need to work hard here also.
The grading is bad in some courses all the grades are in hand of the instructor .

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course as i loved mathematics. And i was eligible to take this course on the basis of jee rank. The faculty student ratio is about 11.This is a top tier institute in India and hence the faculty are highly qualified with post doctorate degrees in thier respective domain from well known universities.They teach in asuch a way that ignites my curiosity in that course.We are taught some courses out of our discipline so we can explore more things.Mid sem exams are held after 2 months of starting of semester followed by end sems after other two months.quizes are held on certain dates keeping into consideration the convenience of students as well as the faculties.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the first sem we have to pay 1,50,000 containing some security deposits excluding mess charges and electricity bill .While all other semester fees is 1,16,000 which contains tuition fee of 1,00,000. Students get tuition fee waived of on the basis of their categories and family income. Their are various scholarships like inspire ,mcm and various other donor scholarships. The information about this scholarship is available on the sspc website of institute.

Campus Life :

Antaragni is our annual cultural fest that occurs generally on november . It is one of the best cultural fest in india. Apart from Antaragni, we have Udhghosh which is a sports fest that is conducted in December. Outstanding performers like Darshan Rawal,Amit Chauhan,Salim Sulemaan and many more has performed in or fests .Techkriti is our techfest in which intercollege scientific and technological competitions are held. Our library has got one of the finest collection of books and journals and a very big capacity to accomodate huge number of children at once. All advance features like projector smartboard mic are present in classroom. Some classrooms can accomodate upto 600 students.Sports are given a lot of importance there are almost every sport you want to join in the college with proper coaches for each sport.All clubs websites and groups are run by students only.

Admission :

I qualified jee advanced for which i startd my preparation in class 11th from resonance nagpur. Almost 10-11 lakh students enroll for jee mains out of which 2.5-2.6 lakh individuals become eligible to give jee advanced,after securing certain cutoff percentile on the basis of their respective categories .Out of these 2.5-2.6lakh individuals only 16000 get admision in top 23 iits. These individuals are alloted certain branches keeping into consideration their rank in jee advanced and the branches filled by them in josa counselling form. Application forms are available for both mains and advanced on their respective official websites.Individuals get reservation in colleges on the basis of their respective categories. Seats are needed to be increased in iits and the syllabus of exam is needed to be revised to ease the students.

All about Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of IITK is great. Every year many 1cr+ packages as well as international packages are offered by top companies to students. The placement percentage is also increasing every year. The students become eligible to apply for companies after 3rd year ie. after 6th semester. The highest package offered was 4cr per annum while the average package was 22lacs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good paying job and start working.

There campus placements are very impressive. But in our branch the placement have not been started because it is new branch but it have very promising hopes of good employment in the upcoming years. The optimistic IITian

Placement Experience:

The college offers various placement opportunities. Many companies come and take people. It's usually starts in the month of December in the final year. I can tell about my branch average package is 33 lakhs and about some 90 lakh is highest package. Various tech non teach companies come like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler etc The minimum salary offered is 6 lakh per annum. People can easily get placement outside college because of IIT tag.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is relevant but it maybe little bit hectic in starting. Maths courses are lot theoretical than JEE where you only have to calculate and no matter how. Here you have to write a mathematical essay on a question and essay should be to the point too

The LIFE IN IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very impressive.From 3rd year onwards students are eligible campus placement.The Students having CPI 7 ARE eligible for campus placements , they wil not see only academics,they will also see in which they have participated,what are they capable in college programs in achieving, does he have leadership qualities or not , these many things they observe while doing campus placements . There are many companies visited to our campus, i will mention some of them like Google, Amazon, Zomato, Microsoft, TCS , ETC... In each branch nearly 150 to 200 offers are made .In my college the last year highest package is 8.9 crores and the average pakage is above 35 lakhs .The percentage of students getting campus placements is 89percentage .And my plan is getting the job in campus placements
