Course Curriculum Overview :

Iit kanpur has a very long course structure. In my first year, it has subjects like physics chemistry maths, introduction to biology, c programming language , ethics, engineering graphics, and physics and chemistry labs.

Class Size : 500Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

A lot of internship opportunities are also provided in iit kanpur. Companies like google, infosys etc provide these internships in programming and data science to improve our skills in coding and learning computer technology.

Placement Experience :

my college provides placements. so there are placements in december where google, microsoft, infosys etc many companies provide placements and internship opportunities. Many entrepreneurship is also encouraged.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is like 100000 per semester and it has many kinds of scholarships like mcm scholarship, inspire scholarship and free basic mess scholarship based on the family income and it also provied fee waiver also .

Campus Life :

life at iit kanpur campus is nice. our infrastucture is very nice as it contains library, oat, auditoriams and many student activities center where differnet courts are present. there are many lecture halls in lecture hall complex area.

Hostel Facilities :

hostel has many good facilities. mostly there are double occupancy or triple occupancy rooms. there are six blocks in freshers hostel known as hall 13. mess quality is also good. daily scheldule is there for mess menu. hostel fees is also very affordable.

Hostel Fee : INR 13000 per year

Admission :

Have done preparation for 1 year in drop year and passed jee mains and advanced then done councelling and had chosen statistics and data science branch in IITK. This exam has subjects like physics, chemistry and maths. It also has reservation benefits for backward castes.

All about Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of IITK is great. Every year many 1cr+ packages as well as international packages are offered by top companies to students. The placement percentage is also increasing every year. The students become eligible to apply for companies after 3rd year ie. after 6th semester. The highest package offered was 4cr per annum while the average package was 22lacs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good paying job and start working.

There campus placements are very impressive. But in our branch the placement have not been started because it is new branch but it have very promising hopes of good employment in the upcoming years. The optimistic IITian

Placement Experience:

The college offers various placement opportunities. Many companies come and take people. It's usually starts in the month of December in the final year. I can tell about my branch average package is 33 lakhs and about some 90 lakh is highest package. Various tech non teach companies come like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler etc The minimum salary offered is 6 lakh per annum. People can easily get placement outside college because of IIT tag.

Course is relevant but it maybe little bit hectic in starting. Maths courses are lot theoretical than JEE where you only have to calculate and no matter how. Here you have to write a mathematical essay on a question and essay should be to the point too

The LIFE IN IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very impressive.From 3rd year onwards students are eligible campus placement.The Students having CPI 7 ARE eligible for campus placements , they wil not see only academics,they will also see in which they have participated,what are they capable in college programs in achieving, does he have leadership qualities or not , these many things they observe while doing campus placements . There are many companies visited to our campus, i will mention some of them like Google, Amazon, Zomato, Microsoft, TCS , ETC... In each branch nearly 150 to 200 offers are made .In my college the last year highest package is 8.9 crores and the average pakage is above 35 lakhs .The percentage of students getting campus placements is 89percentage .And my plan is getting the job in campus placements

Life after JEE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as i loved mathematics. And i was eligible to take this course on the basis of jee rank. The faculty student ratio is about 11.This is a top tier institute in India and hence the faculty are highly qualified with post doctorate degrees in thier respective domain from well known universities.They teach in asuch a way that ignites my curiosity in that course.We are taught some courses out of our discipline so we can explore more things.Mid sem exams are held after 2 months of starting of semester followed by end sems after other two months.quizes are held on certain dates keeping into consideration the convenience of students as well as the faculties.
