Greenery of campus, senior junior interaction scenario and library

Some more sanitation needs to be required and there is a lot of pressure for studies

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams are kind of good for sure you need to study and exams are on time. Faculty to student ratio is perfectly fine too teachers are great. I can't really complain about anything as IIT itself holds some power.

Class Size : 138Course Fees : INR 260000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are generally available in 2nd or 3rd year which totally depends on you. You have to be good enough to grab the opportunities. That's the only factor required here, just showcase what you have got and grab all opportunities.

Placement Experience :

Placements of college are quite good specifically in Petroleum computer science, electronics and communication and some more branches, more than 70 percent students get placed and it matters branch wise too

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I am in the first year only so no jobs right now, and the fees are just fine there are policies for people who cannot afford the fees here, so the finance system is all good. Scholarships here are for people who cannot afford fees.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Srijan there are more fests like the technical fest known as Concetto and Asia's biggest GeoMining fest known as Khanan. All these experiences are great. Asia's biggest technical library is here only classrooms are pretty much fine too same goes to sports.

Admission :

Hit admission through JEE Advanced Rank, once the exam is done everything is available on the site, and everything's well related to the admission process I don't really have any complaints, I am General EWS. The JOSAA site provides all the info

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Placement Experience:

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement companies

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market. Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
