Remarks :

I being in one of the dramatics societies have learned so much about friendship and being confident in every thing you do. There is everything for everyone. For movie-maniacs there is dc++ where you can share your data with the whole campus. Download speeds range from 10mbps to 70 mbps. All over this is the finest engineering college.

Entrance Preview :

Joint Entrance Exam conducted for admission and then on the basis of that admission took place.No there wasn't any interview process.Admission taken by the college Not on the basis of 12 the class result and mock test.i chose B.Tech because I have interest in Science and technological stuffs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

engineering is very important and have many job opportunities.My college provides full practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge. And semester wise you have to complete Project files based on research and latest trends in world.There are other branch of engineering too which you can choose like electrical ,mechanical e.t.c

Internships Opportunities :

Yes our college provides internship for various branch of engineering to students. DUMMY models are prepared of motors e.t.c for providing practical knowledge. LATER students have to work on real models and during this internship they get 3000-5000 stipend monthly.

Placement Experience :

Around 90% of the students got placed in core and even non-core companies. The average salary offered was around 15 lakh for electrical (in core) and around 21 lakh for computer science. The highest package was 90 lakhs per annum and the lowest is close to 8 lakh. Companies like HSBC, ITC, Accenture, Cadbury, ONGC , Infosys, Cisco Systems, Barclays, Bharat Electronics, etc. Usually, on an average, every student will spend any one year summer on internship

College Events :

The annual fest of kgp fills this void completely. Spring fest is a spectacle of its own. A really healthy spirit of inter college events. The entire college does not sleep at all during these 3-4 days. Asia's biggest tech fest kshitij find home at iit kgp. Alumni meets global entrepreneurship summit i.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee Structure in My college is quite affordable.As A common fact we know that engineering is not that much cheap you have to pay at least 70000 per year So in my college fees is 70000 per year..But you can get there concession on behalf of education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes our college provide equal chance to both rich and poor students. to make it possible our college provide scholarships on the college level as well as at government level. Loans are provided by many banks on college guarantee according to the needs of students.

Campus Life :

We have plenty of opportunities here, be it sports, cultural programmes, tech programmes or anything else.

Hostel Facilities :

There is very Nice hostel life in my college according to my instinct. There are no goons and where you can study.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes alumni meet organised in every 5 years. And it is not very significant there is no interaction between students and alumni .more over they don't even contribute a single penny for development of college.

Exam Structure :

Yes there is lot of stress in college about exams as our college follow semester wise exam system.But time to time we use to celebrate our college life they organised picnic and lot of other sports activities

Faculty :

Faculty members are magnificent, there is no doubt in at all. They take classes in the slots given to them with punctuality. The course plan which is given by the central govt. is followed. The faculty follows each and every point given in the curriculum. The faculty teaches like a god and take cares of the students with an amazing nature.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Placement Experience:

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
