initially you will have to follow certain rules in pretext of what they call as culture
you have to maintain a certain level of discipline with seniors

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course is less hectic if you compare it with other branches like electronics and communication engineering, mechanical or electrical. you will have ample time to pursue the thing you want to other than academics. The faculty is good here. they are all qualified professors and assistant professors.

Class Size : 143Course Fees : INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

internship opportunities are good here. you can get an internship in your 2nd year and 3rd year mostly you get it. if you are a girl then it becomes a lot easier to avail internship. you have great intern companies like Sprinklr and Atlassian.

Placement Experience :

placements are good for all branches but they are exceptionally good for branches like petroleum engineering, and mining, and the intern history is good, and many opportunities in the non-core sector. nearly 70% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee is the same throughout all institutes and there are various scholarships that they provide. if you are a general category student who has a family income greater than 6 lakhs then it is hard for you to avail of any scholarship.

Campus Life :

campus life is very good. it is calm and you get to enjoy the greenery which you always wished for. we have a library here which is one of the largest libraries in Asia and it stands true to that. classrooms can be better.

Admission :

the course is eligibe for all the students who have cleared jee advanced. its closing rank is around 13k. you will get application f jee advanced exam on josaa website and it has lot of reservation benefit as you can jump 2 3 branches higher.

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

Our placements are better than other colleges but not as good as other iits also due to recession the placement have declined this year , as for me I have secondary choice to prepare for gate as core companies like cil don't come to campus placement and we have to crack gate which easier for my branch as it is a rare branch in india

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
