Remarks :

The rationale for this is simple: it has a good placement record and a CSE programme. Because there are just a few colleges in India that offer a good CSE curriculum, IIT Guwahati is one among them. The candidate must pass the GATE exam and obtain a minimum of 60% in the relevant stream, followed by the Gd and PI rounds. If you have any work experience, your profile will be given greater weight.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college's curriculum is of worldwide quality and adheres to the most up-to-date industry requirements. The programme is meant to educate students for a long and successful career as well as to develop leadership qualities that will enable them to be globally competent. The curriculum includes both academic and practical information. The professor to student ratio is roughly 1:8, and the college's faculty are well qualified from India's and abroad's top universities. The bundle we are receiving is entirely due to the faculty's dedication and instruction. The professors are so dedicated to their profession that we can approach them at any moment with questions or concerns, and they will gladly assist us. One of the best decisions I've ever made was to attend IIT Guwahati.

Course Fees : INR 205000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college has a strong record of placement. The placement committee at the college is so committed that they make certain that every student who appears for placement is placed. They serve as a mentor to the students and provide us with guidance during the placement process. The college boasts a 100% placement rate, thanks to the dedication of the college placement committee. Our batch's highest package was 95 LPA, while the average package was around 50 LPA. One of the best advantages is that the vast majority of pupils receive pre-placement offers. Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Chalo, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Groww, and Razorpay were among the companies that engaged in the college placement push.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for the course is a bit expensive. For the first year, it costed me around 2 Lakhs for the course. Though, I paid the whole fees in one go; the college still offers financial benefits to the students through scholarships and other modes. Scholarshipss are available to deserving students at the college. There is also a scholarship available for SC/ST/PWD students. Campus Life :

The college's campus life is enjoyable and enjoyable. Students have plenty of opportunities to share their thoughts and engage on research projects at the college. Students from all over India are present on campus, providing us with an excellent opportunity to learn about India's various cultures. Fests and activities such as ALCHERINGA-cultural fest, India's second largest fest, TECHNICHE-techno-management fest, and SPIRIT-sports fest are the key draws for the campus's students.

A detailed review of IIT GUWAHATI.

Placement Experience:

My insights will be focussed on M.Tech A mtech student becomes eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester, as for btech i think its 9th semester. Very good choice for Masters in Mechanical

Placement Experience:

From the first semister itself you will be eligible for the internships but the internship opportunities are very less, very less companies have visited for internships For the Campus placement in the second year very good number of reputed companies like bajaj, TVS, mercedes, TATA, Jindal , GE etc have come with good packages Highest in core campanies will be around 16 LPA and average will be around 10 LPA 90 percent of the candidates will be placed generally

IITG, a place to live your dreams

Placement Experience:

For btech students they get eligible for placement in 7 semester for mtech 3 semester I was shortlisted in 3 company SCA technologies, IOD solution and raspa pharma. I got offer from IOG solution. Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season. Till. This time 70% of the students got placed. Out of 1200 students. My plans is to join the job.
