Remarks :

NIT Goa is good and is among the top 100 engineering colleges in India. The college curriculum is also good. I was allotted a seat at my JOSAA counselling. After passing the JEE I participated in JOSAA counseling was allotted a seat in NIT Goa. The college has good faculty admin NIT Goa is a very good option for the person who is unable to make it into the big colleges. The college also has good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college was recently updated and follows the late industrial developments. The curriculum is designed to provide us with complete engineering knowledge but a little bit of management knowledge is also included. The faculty of the college has completed their PhD program from the top college of India. The faculty is the one that helps us to understand all the complex concepts in an easy way. The faculty has very good research experience.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship program of the college is very good. The college provides very good companies for internships. The internship is also paid. The college internship stipend ranges from 25000 to 96000.

Placement Experience :

The placement process of the college is very simple and the placement is organised in a very systematic way. The placement committee is responsible for conducting all kinds of the placement process and all the formalities related to the placement is completed through the placement committee of the college. The highest placement packages of the college are around 16 LPA and the average salary offer is around 8 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Post Matric Scholarship, Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana, Merit-Based Award to ST, National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST, Global Korea Scholarship to M.Tech. and Ph.D. are some of the names through which the college provides scholarship and to know about the eligibility condition then you have to visit the college website.

Campus Life :

The college campus life is friendly. The college provides a good and healthy environment. The college classrooms are modern and the classroom is properly designed and ventilated too. The classrooms are smart. The college library is the house of many books from the top authors of India abroad which help us to learn new things. The college labs are high-end. The college campus is clean and the building is properly managed.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is good. The rooms are fully furnished and have beds, almirahs and study tables for everyone. The hostel food is also good. The hostel is kept very clean. A laundry facility is available in the hostel. The hostel common room has an LCD TV facility. The hostel wardens are professional and the hostel staff is properly trained. The hostel is security is also very good and 24 hours availability.

Average CTC is about 11LPA. Highest is about 50LPA offered by google. Students are eligible for placements in their final year first semister (7th sem). Students can do 6 month internship in 8th sem and can get PPO. during the summer break students can also do a 2 month internship .

Visiting the interiors!

Placement Experience:

Final students are eligible for placements. Companies such as turtle mint, findem, Nokia, IFB, Samsung, Adani power, HDFC Bank, Tesco, Upskill, ONGC, Jio, and many more. Last year almost everyone got placed. Average package is 10 LPA. This year though placements were not as expected because of economic depression. Even after the placements, lay offs have become common. Hence to cope up with the competition we need to keep upskilling.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

Placement Experience:

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after reaching in the last year that is 7th semester, various companies visit for placement, including Samsung, Adobe, Nvidia, etc. The average package lies around 12LPA and highest at 25LPA, and last year around 200 offers were given across all branches. BITS Pilani - It's truly magic ?

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of my college is great. The complanies that recruit from my college are from tech, core and finance. My college is a Tier 1 college so the placements are also in the upper strata. The overall avg package of campus is around 15 lakhs and avg package of CS department reaches 30 lakhs. 90% of the batch gets placed and the rest of the students either go for higher studies or start their own startup.
