Remarks :
Good research work in my field. Applications for PhD program are shortlisted for an interview based on the GATE qualification and marks of PG course taken by the student. An interview is conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The admission is done two times a year, one during the summers in the month of May-June and the other in the winters during November-December.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am doing PhD to pursue a career in academia and research. The institute has faculties which are subject experts in their domains and a proper faculty-student ratio is present for the PhD program. A PhD student has to take 4 to 8 courses depending upon the department and the type of PhD student.

Placement Experience :
There is no placement done by the institute for the PhD students. The students depending upon their choice and plan opt for post doctoral programs in different institutes. Apart from that many students apply for faculty positions in different institutes within India. Students after completing PhD also go for jobs in Research and Development departments of different industries.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Tuition Fee for PhD students is nominal. Other charges like hostel and mess charges are not to much and can be around 4000 to 6000 per month. PhD students get a financial assistance of 31000 INR for initial two years which is increased to 35000 for the next three years of a 5 year PhD program.
Campus Life :
Campus life is vibrant. All the time some kind of events are going on within the campus. The main events include the annual fest Antaragni and the technical fest Techkriti. Both events sees the participation of thousands of students from all over the country.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is a must in this institution as it is a fully residential campus. We get single rooms and other facilities are good enough for a relaxed life. Each hostel has its own mess and the mess operation and food menu is under the supervision of student elected body.
