I have choose this college comorative to other options because it is autonomous and a government college also due to its nirf ranking of engineering and it has a acceptable median salary inour course according to nirc data

- The campus area is also very big and located in a very Porsche place near airport

- The restriction period is too long and you can't go anywhere in your restriction period.

I have applied for MMMUT, GL BAJAJ , GALGOTIAS And preferring this College over others was because of the placement records and dress code as mostly of them they were taking a huge ammount of money only for dress code which was too expensive for me. But the mains aspect for selecting MMMUT was the fees as other colleges were taking huge amount as a middle class family i cant afford that much fees.

I applied for the AKTU counselling also and also apply for MMMUT counselling also but the branches that I admire to get admitted I didn't get in the top 3 colleges I was getting some private college in NCR region in which I was not that much excited for so that is why I opted mmmut as it is near to my home it's a great college with fantastic alumni network and great infrastructure however fees is on a higher side I guess. I got admission through JEE mains exam and mmmut counselling the cutoffs and the ranks for this year for this college has lower the but if wish to be in this college you should be in top 8-10% students of the total jee crowd. MMMUT is the second best college in U.P for all technical courses. You have to be 12 th pass to get admission in MMMUT and also scored good marks in cuet to got the seat. It provides you good internships and campus placement from other colleges. It provides scholarship to all students

There are not many options in up for good colleges other than some handful of them are like hbtu,iet Lucknow, and mmmut Gorakhpur,our college is autonomous so it does its counselling by itself and is done online and spot round is conducted offline

I got admission through the MET exam which was held by my college which was changed in 2022 and now it takes admissions only through JEE MAINS. Cutoff for MeT exam for ECE was rank under 1000 my rank was 799.

- The infrastructure is not so well as you can expect from a government University but however things are getting better day by day like newly build classrooms with ACs for the first year(don't know about second year).
- There are labs with well equipped machines and desktops.Some professors try their best to deliver the content and try to understand the students.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the hostels are not so good.Their is leakage for the past few days as it is raining.A small part of the building also crumbled a day before and there are snakes in the hostel as their are grasses and trees all around the campus.
- Overall interaction are good in the first year college,but if you try to study....there will be random people in your room most of the time.I myself would be getting a pg or single rented room in my second year(my personal view).
Admission:
Just see if I am here it simply means my JEE mains went not so good nor so bad however If I would get a chance I would have chosen NITs ofcourse....like who would not be choosing NITs over this college. I was also getting Civil engineering in HBTU Kanpur but I had no interest in civil engineering so that why I preferred ECE branch in this University over HBTU.The teachers were not so helpful during the admission process .....the admission process was quite simple if I see today however they were not cooperative if I see today.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has designed a scholarship to ensure that education must reach every house in the state. The admission is open to candidates of both sexes without discrimination of caste, creed and colour . For admission to first year of M.C.A. the candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as defined by UGC with mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination without grace.
