Entrance Preview :

GATE self preparation with standard books and solved papers which every one can got from the market very easily. You can also join a coaching for your stream there are many coachings in most of the cities.

Internships Opportunities :

College provide internship with lodging in the campus, for postgraduate courses you will get some scholarships through institute or by ministry of human resource development ot by NET JRF.

Placement Experience :

Placement is very good for many branches and specially for computer science graduates and electrical graduates . For pg students placement is depend on the work of the field and depend on the job structure. In terms of general statically record of placement it is not hundred percent.

College Events :

There is tech fest called Techkriti every year in march and anyone can participate in the fest which is registered in any organisation. There is also a cultural fest every year in the month of October, many participant comes fro the country and aboard to participate in the fest and make the fest success fully.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are various scholarships provide by the institute and by the ministry of human resource development.

Hostel Facilities :

There are about 12 hostels in IIT kanpur with lodging capacity of about 5000 students of various courses there are mess facility in every hostel mess is on payment basis which is about 2000 per month.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a alumni ceremony every year in the institute every passed out student can join the alumni network with free of cost.

Placement Experience:

Ph.D. scholars in their 3rd semesters are allowed to teach on the campus. They are paid from rs.350-1250 per class depending on their department. After the completion, of course, they also can offer you a permanent teaching job at their campus. The salary would be between 50k to 1lakh per month. I would want to teach on the campus after the completion of my degree.

Remarks:

Best Place to Study in India.

Remarks:

Banaras Hindu university is one of the best university in india and it largest residential university in Asia. Situated in one of the oldest cities that is Varanasi. University provides good and proper facility to all their student to study and develop his /her skills .BHU have largest library in india with Cyber library for poor student those who cant afford their computer and laptops with 24 hour connectivity of local area network. There is no bad thing about my college except some...social issues that is part of our life.
