No hostel for boys, local food is very low quality
Less boys in college and some people have ego clashes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose that course to gain system-level understanding and research. There are 70% girls and 30 boys. Teaching methods of nift are really good and hardcore learning. There are 3 tests for every semester it's all about presentation there is no hard thing to pass.

I wanted to pursue design so I chose a master's in design. a number of students 36 in a class. 4 faculty and many guest faculty will come exams are hard .. we have an open jury. we have 3 assignments to submit and one final jury

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue something creative and it felt like the right choice considering all my other options at that time. But I would recommend everyone to do their research properly before going for any course. The faculty is knowledgeable and well-qualified. For 36 students we have 4 faculty and the rest are visiting faculty. The term exams are fairly easy to pass and happen on a timely basis.

Fee structure is feasible it is around 70000 per semester but it varies semester to semester like for last semester it was around 50000 and first three semesters it was 70000 average MFM is 2 years course so total fee was approx 300000.

The curriculum at NIFT allows students to easily blend into a global network, as well as acquire a greater appreciation of local industry trends. The multidisciplinary and broad based structure aims at an all round development of students. Deriving from the changing paradigms of industry and commerce, its content as well as the methodology is constantly reviewed by academia and industry experts.NIFT offers four year bachelor and two year master programmes in the areas of Design, Management and Technology.PedagogyTeaching at the Institute incorporates a cohesive, contextual and nurturing environment for learning. The emphasis is on self motivated learning by using information, experience and practice. The teaching methodology aims at using the inputs from core functional areas to inter disciplinary issues and problem solving. Students undertake classroom and workshop assignments, conduct field observations, make presentations and participate in group discussions and seminars and are encouraged to develop industry linkages.Evaluation Continuous evaluation and assessment is undertaken throughout the semester by way of assignments, projects, internships and presentations. Juries comprising academicians and industry professionals assess students' work and capabilities. The aim is to closely monitor students' evolution as competent professionals and provide critical feedback to students on their performance and development.
