NID Gandhinagar is an extension campus of NID Ahmedabad built on a 15-acre plot. NID Gandhinagar campus houses all major facilities and resources such as the Knowledge Management Center, Central Workshop (wood /metal), Laser Cutting, CNC Machine, 3D Printing, Digital Lab, and discipline-specific labs and studios. The institute also has an all-new auditorium/amphitheater, besides a Design Gallery that witnesses frequent exhibitions. National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar, provides boarding facilities for boys and girls. Hostel accommodation is allocated for one year, and students must register for the reallocation every year.
