My course is FASHION COMMUNICATION which is basically all about UI/UX design, Graphic designing etc. Since childhood I've been a tech savvy kind of person. I like to explore different applications and thus this course allows me to work on application like FIGMA, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, PHOTOSHOP, etc. So nift has jury every semester and whatever work we've done so far is presented there. The panel doesn't judge us on their level rather on industry or company levels. We're taught from day one that you are not working for faculty rather consider us clients and work according to our needs. The semester consists of mid term, end term and jury assignments and i think the difficulty level varies from person to person. For me, it gets a little hectic during jury as it is the last chance for us to present something out of the box product and for that it needs high level of thinking and exploration and completing that within the given deadline becomes a task.

I choose that course to gain system-level understanding and research. There are 70% girls and 30 boys. Teaching methods of nift are really good and hardcore learning. There are 3 tests for every semester it's all about presentation there is no hard thing to pass.

I always wanted to pursue something creative and it felt like the right choice considering all my other options at that time. But I would recommend everyone to do their research properly before going for any course. The faculty is knowledgeable and well-qualified. For 36 students we have 4 faculty and the rest are visiting faculty. The term exams are fairly easy to pass and happen on a timely basis.
The faculty and staff are very good. Mentors are very supportive. It's always a one-on-one conversation with faculty. The individual will give time to you, and if wanted extra time is also given. While talking about the exam we barely have 1-2 theory exams per semester. It was always a jury( presenting your work in front of a panel)
The course is good and somewhat related to engineering with fashion. You will get the diversities. Talking about the student ratio so here girls rule as around 2:1. Faculties are very knowledgeable. There are basically two assignment processes and 1 final exam and at the end of the sem
Great faculties and a good environment for a fashion enthusiast. I choose this course as I always had a technical approach in fashion and wanted to know deep about it, hence I applied for this course. Our class strength is 29 and so faculties do give proper attention to each and every student.
I choose this course because it is a combination of fashion and lifestyle and technology. From the beginning, I was quite interested in the technology field and of course in fashion so this is a combination of both courses that,s why I choose this There are 30 students in my class. Actually, we have jury sessions for which you have to be bold confident, and punctual. The examination is not so tough but also not so easy.
NIFT, Gandhinagar, has one of the most senior and expert faculty members. They have an ample amount of industrial experience and some of them are well known in the industry. Each faculty has a different teaching method depending upon the module. some believe in chalkboard and the presentations while others believe in practicality. One warning I would like to give is that the curriculum for textile design is extremely tedious and demands not only the college hours but also your sleeping hours. The faculty are extremely strict about the quality and the quantity of work.
Fashion Communication was introduced at our time. We were the first batch of FC gandhinagar. The branch is still building up. But still did well with the premiere batch but a lot of facilities regarding the department were missing. College has a lovely library called RC I. e Resource centre.
