NIFT Counselling 2024 is ongoing for allocation of seats for admission to B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M at NIFT Gandhinagar. The online registration for the Spot Round of NIFT Counselling 2024 is scheduled from July 21 to July 23, 2024 (12:00 Midnight). The choice filling and locking for the Spot Round Admission is from July 21 to July 25, 2024 (12:00 Midnight). Candidates can register and fill in their choices online @ nift.admissions.nic.in. The Spot Round Seat Allotment Result for NIFT Counselling 2024 will be released on July 27, 2024. The final seat allotment for NIFT Admission 2024 under the Artisans/Wards of Artisans Category has also been released. National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), Gandhinagar is one of the forefront fashion designing institutes in India that was established in the year 2004. It offers a 4-year full-time undergraduate course in Bachelor of Fashion Design, Bachelor of Accessory Design and Bachelor of Textile Design. Apart from these courses, NIFT Gandhinagar also offers three Postgraduate programs in designing and fashion.

NIFT Gandhinagar offers M.F.M and M.F.Tech. at the PG level. Candidates must have passed undergraduate degree from any recognized institute/university.

- There is no age limit for admission in the courses.
- Relaxation of 10% will be given for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
- Relaxation up to 5% in the minimum marks is allowed to nominees of the Nepal and Bhutan Government to determine their eligibility for admission to a course.
- 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped Candidates as per NIFT norms.

Aspirants looking for admission in National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), Gandhinagar are required to apply in online mode. They are required to register online through the official website of NIFT. Here are the steps to apply:
- Visit the website of NIFT.
- Register in the new user section.
- After completion of the registration process, a verification email will be sent to candidates’ e-mail ID. Click on the ‘Confirm registration’ link.
- Provide basic details like name, DOB, address, academic details and the category under which they are going to apply.
- After entering the personal details, choose the course which they want to pursue according to their eligibility.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature, fill the details asked in the application form and submit the same.
- Make the payment of Application Fee. Fee for General/OBC(Non-Creamy) Category: INR 1500 through payment gateway or Demand Draft. Fee for SC/ST/PHP Category INR 750 through payment gateway or Demand Draft.
- Submit the form.
Note: In the case of candidates making payment through DD, applicants are required to send the printout of the application form along with DD.

- Online registration needs to be done to participate in the NIFT Counselling process.
- Candidate needs to provide their login credentials which are application no., date of birth and password to register.

- The campus is really welcoming and clean. First year students need that welcoming vibe and aura around themselves which NIFT GNR offers by including various activities and fun filled events so that it’s easy for new students to accept the place.
- The main campus building itself is an example of a complex thus beautiful design. Campus includes mess, gym, stationary, doctors for physical and mental well being along with hostel and playgrounds for sports activities.

Every year the forms are released around september/october. Nift consists two rounds- CAT(drawing) and GAT(general aptitude) and once you clear these two round they conduct a last round called- SITUATION TEST( where they provide materials and topic on the spot and you have to make model right there at NIFT centers nearest you). Anyone who has completed their 10+2 can give the test Its a 4 year course for bachelors (B.Des) and 2 years course for masters (M.FM/M.Des). You have to give test for both. If you're an artisan you're given the top most priority. I think the only thing that they can improve is in making their website better as it has been legacy that is still continuing- when the results are out the website hangs and then it takes 1-2 days to get it fixed then they release the results again.

Graduation in any field of study. There is an application form for around 3000 rs. There is SC st and OBC quota which helps you in the time of selection process from all over India. The entrance forms are available on the NIFT website and the process starts around October. You have to go through two rounds before getting the final rank. The first round is the creative and general ability test that has questions related to drawing, math, English, logical reasoning, and general awareness. The second round consists of GD and PI. Anyone with a bachelor's degree can apply for the master's course. The admission process is smooth but a little time management would be preferred.

There was step by step process first, was the written exam which was divided into two parts MCQ and drawing, and after the results of the exam those who pass the first one there was a practical exam at the NIFT center. For the reservation part, I am avail of the scholarship for ST girls while my last semester.
