You have GAT paper. Maths English and gk is majorly from where questions are formed. The paper is of 150 marks . According to your score a rank is given then admission process happen according to your rank campuses are allocated.

You have to sit for the all-India NIFT exam for BFTECH course. You can find the application form on the NIFT official website which is available from the month of Nov-Dec. The examination generally is in the month of February and the results are out by April-May
Admission:
NIFT and NID didn't go to nid. Applied quota as OBC. Minimum marks should be 22 or there are 3 papers for entrance on NIFT like GAT, CAT and Situation test so 1 round is about gat and cat if students qualify for this they pass to situation test. The Counselling was through a zoom meeting where we were provided with an earlier seat availability chart and according to rank students joined and whatever course they wanted was allotted.
Admission:
NIFT is a design school that includes all the fashion aspects. It is under the Ministry of Textiles. The student has to apply for the entrance exam first to get into NIFT. The course is a bit expensive but yet worth it because students get various opportunities in future and also the placements are satisfactory. The faculties here are really cooperative.

The college is pretty good with a well-maintained campus. The course is relatively new as compared to other courses. So u have less competition and more chances of growth. NIFT provides you to explore your creative ideas in designing and provides a good mentorship to help you out with your projects and course. The admission process is pretty simple, you have to appear for all India level examination which normally has three round but in 2020 due to pandemic, there were only two rounds and the result was declared on the basis of these two rounds. The third round is a kind of spot round where you have to prepare some 3d models with explanations so that your teacher can evaluate your project properly. NIFT is going to be ranked among top colleges in the coming future as it has a wide scope. So it's better to go for NIFT courses rather than choosing other courses. The student just has to explore his creativity for a bright future in NIFT.

The faculties are good and are putting efforts. I think the infrastructure could have been better but other than that I am quite satisfied with the course and academia. Our fabric science professor Dr. Abhijeet Mukherjee has been my favourite faculty to go with, with his immense effort and dedication

Some classes are conducted in IT labs which are equipped with different software helpful for the teaching of students and making them aware of the current trend in the industry. The students are going for industry visit on a regular basis as it is a part of the syllabus.

I believe that we are being taught the best and our faculty members also helps us in all possible way. we have faculties that are already into the field and has been in the industries soo they are well experienced.

Pattern making is one of the best subject there because it eas based on the reality and practical theories were provided for that. Every week we used to have practical classes and assignments were to given where we can polish our skills and talent. Actually NIFT is one of the best colleges in india where one can fulfil their dreams and make them true.
