Usha International has collaborated with National Institute of Fashion Technology to recognize and honor the winners of the prestigious 'Best Garment Construction' Award 2023.
New Delhi: Usha International, the foremost sewing machine company in India, has collaborated with NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), a renowned fashion institute, to recognize and honor the winners of the prestigious 'Best Garment Construction' Award 2023.
The partnership of Usha International and NIFT aims to support and inspire the emerging fashion designers from NIFT as they embark on their journey to establish themselves in the fashion industry. Usha International and NIFT have established a partnership since 2000, and this year they will present the Usha NIFT 'Best Garment Construction Award' 2023 across 16 NIFT centers.
These NIFT centers include Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Panchkula, Patna, Raebareli, and Shillong. The recipients of this prestigious award will be rewarded with an Usha Janome Allure DLX automatic sewing machine, a certificate, and a cash prize.
The commencement of this event took place over the weekend with graduate shows held in Hyderabad, Patna, Mumbai, and Kannur. The grand finale of the award ceremony will take place on June 7th at the NIFT Gandhinagar center. Speaking about the association, Usha's spokesperson stated that the partnership with NIFT signifies their dedication to nurturing talent in the fashion industry and acknowledging the creativity and skill of these young students.
