Course Description
Interested candidates have to fill out an online application to apply for MSRIT Bangalore. The stepwise application procedure is mentioned below.
- Go to the official website of MSRIT.
- Click on the Apply link available at the end of the home page.
- Now fill the form of the desired course with all the essential details.
- After filling, submit the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
- The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

- The staff / professors are well educated .They have the required knowledge about their respective fields. Lectures / classes are done in a proper way with regular monthly exams and semester exams. All your questions/doubts are well answered/cleared .
- The campus is green with good built buildings for classrooms and laboratories .
Dislikes
- The campus size is decent not a very huge campus .
- The attendance rules are strict and a student is made not eligible to write the semester end examinations if your attendance is low.
Fees and Financial Aid:
If you get your seat from KCET examination the fees is around 107000/year and if you come from Comedk student it will be around 250000/year .Management students have to pay the yearly fee equal to comedk fees on top of donation .

- Campus is big enough and in a good locality. There are places around the college to enjoy ourselves
- Infrastructure of the college is good and impressive

- There can be done improvements in the lab facilities

The yearly fees will be around 107000 rupees In which tuition will be around 65000 And the other miscellaneous amount and skill lab fees around 20000 Scholarships are available one of which is SSP. They are 6 or 7 clauses if you fall under any of those you will get some amount accordingly

- The minimum attendence required for each semester exam is a bit high

Tution fee for students entering through comedk is on the higher side when compared with the students entering through kcet. The fees specifically for the comedk 2023 batch saw a hike of around 20000. You would end up spending around 300000/year if you are a comedk aspirant. Apart from this,there are many scholarship programms.

- There are some really good teachers and inspiring teachers.
- Paper is usually quite easy and teachers do help in studying for the exam by giving the similar questions in assignments
Dislikes
- Study curriculum prepared by the teachers.
- Canteen food is just so mediocre and most days hard to swallow.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fee structure is on average good enough for a private college. Teachers regularly give Scholarship information for students. The admission department also helps out for the process. The increase policy of tuition fee is alright not much to share there. Would've been great if they didn't ask for exam fees when so much fees is already taken. And buying lab books that they very obviously just printed that too not so clearly seems unnecessary.

- Various clubs keeps us busy and encourags us to learn more
- RIT provides very good opportunities to the students interested in sports
Dislikes
- The campus in smaller which makes us to go to the hospital campus everytime

The tuition fees per year is around 91000 per year. Which makes it less than 4lack for the complete 4 year course. There are various scholarships avaliable for the students which include SSP, NSP, and RIT Alumni scholarship provide free food and also cash for the students securing above 9.9 CGPA

- Placement is not good as expected offeres
Fees and Financial Aid:
The annual fee amounts to 75,000. The government will provide scholarships like SSP, and aluminai for the eligible students. No financial Assistance. I am not placed but my friends were placed with 5lpa.

- Alumni provides good help for all needy students and faculty are well versed
Dislikes
- I didn't liked their approach of conducting exams like they complete the course well within 3 months
- Their method of conducting only two internals and giving a lot of assignments to write
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure for Comedk and management for mechanical engineering is about 2,95,000, and for KCET it is about 1,22,000. it has hiked from 76206 to 1,22,000. The alumni here are the best they provide help for every needy student with so many scholarships from the college itself and they are ready to provide financial assistance to students who are not able to pay their exam fees which we are indebted to them what they actually do for all needy people. still, I have yet to give placement drive companies aptitude tests.

- Traffic outside the campus, you have to wait.
- Noise from the construction going during college hours.
Fees and Financial Aid:
If you are availing general quota from COMEDK then to have to pay the full fee, otherwise, different reservation criteria are also available on the basis of local language speaking if you have completed 12th from there or if you have been given KCET.
Likes
- Good wifi facilities and no network issue. And provide good communication.
- Provides good food services in hostel and good rooms.
Dislikes
- Cleaning department is not sufficient for cleaning of washrooms.
- Labarotary equipments are not sufficient to all students
Fees and Financial Aid:
In our fee was too much for those who came through the common entrance test. The first-year fee is 80000 and from next year onwards they reduce college fees for all students. The college will alumni scholarships for economically poor students to encourage them.

- The college atmosphere is very good for learning.
- Very good availability of books in the library.
Dislikes
- Not much encouragement from the faculty for other activities.
- The way a few faculty teaches the students.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is like 58k for KCET and the remaining fee to the college. So the yearly fee is 74k. The college does provide Alumni scholarships for needy students. Till now I didn't avail of any scholarships.
