The college has good buildings, clean classrooms, and modern labs. There is a big library with many books for students. The campus also has a playground, a gym, and a canteen with tasty food. Students feel happy and safe here. It is a good place to study and grow.

According to student reviews, The campus is lush green with fresh air, making it a nice place. The cafeteria, bakery, and food court offer good quality food at affordable prices. The staff around the college are kind and very helpful. However, the parking space is quite small, so it can be hard to find a spot. Also, if students have any issues or arguments with some faculty members, it might affect the students placement.

College Life

Likes

The campus is spread over 20 acres with lush green trees all around. The campus is well maintained by the staff.
Faculty all have at least a doctorate which means they are highly qualified to teach the students.
The boys to girls ratio in my class is 70:30

Dislikes

The car parking is not sufficient as many students bring their own vehicle.
Some buildings are constantly under construction causing disturbances to classes
Not enough sports activities are done by the college.

Student view on course curriculum

I am interested in coding which is why i have chosen computer science. The course curriculum is very appropriate as it not only teaches us new methods of approaching problems but also helps to understand real world scenarios. The exams are not very difficult and students can pass studying at end moments also.

Top company recruiting from the campus and highest package

campus placements are eligible for students from sixth semester. Many companies come onto campus such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Unisys, Infosys, etc. The highest placed student last year from computer science earned a package of 30 LPA

Yearly fees structure in the college

The fees for computer science BE is 60,000 per semester for management quota. On this an additional of 3000 rupees is collected as exam fees every semester. Other than this purchase of practical records and assignment books cost around 500 rupees per semester. Other branches such as mechanical have a fee structure of about 40,000 per semester.

College fest and various activities

We have a fest every year which goes across 1 weeks time. We have a competition called roar that includes loud bikes and cars and compete for who has the loudest exhaust. Besides this many cultural activities and events take place. Many clubs and groups are also formed.

Students and faculty ratio and exams

The faculty to student ratio is 1:80. All teachers are quite interactive and have good knowledge about the subjects they teach. Our semester consists of 2 internals held every 1.5 months and then a semester end examination. Besides this we have Lab internal and external exams

Admission process and eligibilty criteria

BMSIT is well known for its campus placements and tie ups with multi national companies. I thought that my opportunities would expand multifold if i joined this college. Apart from that BMSIT is also close to my house which makes it easy to commute. College asks for CET ranking COMEDK ranking 10th and 12th marks card to admit you in the college with personal details as well.

Nightlife and nearby places

Around college the most famous is Phekan Paan Shop, Su wow momos , five star chicken, ambur biryani, chai bar, delhi flavours, mcdonald's. Hostel curfew is 10 pm and gates open at 530 am. The library has many many books for all kinds of engineering provided by the college.

Admission:

I applied to many others college and as I was a KCET applicant most of the admission process was conducted in KEA itself and the only documents submission and all were held in college so it was not that tough . I had got many college but BMSIT was much better than those so I choose it. And there was no rejection from any colleges this was my own choice of college. Eligibility to join this college mainly depends on your ranking that you get in kcet or comedk.

Best college amoung the all the private colleges

I applied the collage in banglore like bms,Rv college,Bmsit, Dayanandasagar they all are good collages in the banglore I choose this collage because I don't have any other option than that I got 6700 rank in the comedk basically I m from pune, maharashtra so I thought bmsit is the good collage in the banglore so I decide to take this collage than other,and also it is good collage Yes, I got rejected by all other collages because for rv collage cs needs 300 rank in comedk but I only got around 6700 rank I got this collage in second round of the comedk counselling In 2024 rank needed to take this collage is 9000 rank for CSE student and for AI ML it is 13k ,this is the first year that cutoff of the collage is increased because of increase in seats in the collage in 2024 around 1200 seat is only for the CSE Students

One of the best thing about our collage is environment , They have maintained the nature inside the college very well.
In aspect of Transportation : The collage is 100m walkable distance from bus stop and Buses are available from all around the city

Dislikes

Apart from this two i don't think there were any dislikes for me
One of the most disliked thing for me was canteen because the rates were high but the quantity was poor

Admission:

During counseling of my collages I opted for MSRIT and BMSIT. In 2nd round of CET allotment I got BMSIT and I finalized it. I opted this college because of transportation and i also had heard good things about this collage. Since I am from a village called neralaghatta this collage is at a optimum distance to travel and there is buses available throughout the day ( Doddaballapur - Yelanka ) My friends brother is aslo alumini of the same collage and suggested us this collage

lush green campus with ample amount of fresh air
cafeteria , bakery and food court serves affordable and quality food

Dislikes

the parking space is really small , difficult to get a spot sometimes
limited clubs and only a few active clubs

Admission:

this college has a really good placement and is helps to prepare for study abroad exams. it has better placement than many reputated colleges in Karnataka. i applied in Benagluru Institute of Technology and Nitte Meenakshi also but this college has better curriculam , environment , good will and of course placement. i didnt get any rejection from any college. i had option all colleges as my rank was good. admission is through KCET , COMED-K , Management and NRI quota. cutoffs vary from quota and branch

I liked Amphitheater. It was an open area where extra-curricular activities would be usually conducted. That was the place where many inaugral funtions took place. Since it was an open area one would not feel suffocated.

THESE THREE COLLEGES WERE IN MY TOP PRIORITY BECAUSE THESE WERE THE ONLY THREE COLLEGES WHICH WERE NEAR TO MY HOUSE DISTANCE WISE. I WANTED BMSCE AND RVCE TOO BUT THEY ARE VERY FAR AND I'LL BE REACHING HOME LATE. TALKING ABOUT THE ADMISION PROCES, IT WAS NOT MUCH OF A HASSLE, IT WAS A SMOOTH PROCESS WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. FOR THE MANAGEMENT STUDENTS, YOU CAN REACH TO OUR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. ALSO BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT IS A VERY PROFFESIONAL AND REPUTABLE TIER TWO COLLEGE, SO YEAH ME AND MY PARENTS ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE COLLEGE. The college had fests and events every now and then which made it is fun and interesting for everyone to attend and extra curriculum like sports and annual fest were organised for the students, teachers were very helpful regarding the course.

The quality of life in our college is so good because the campus if complety greenery feels like living in an jungle.
Very well equipped with all the lab equipments and all labs are very neat and clean with proper staff in each lab.

Secondly their are no proper ground for all the games and shortage of play ground in the college.

And for the all the above colleges mentioned above BMSIT i didn't get the seat in those colleges. I have joined through Kcet and the HK cutoff for ECE in BMSIT was 39422 it is my rank .
