The major aspect about mechanical engineering in RVCE is that it is very industry oriented, there's a lot of theory but the college has major collaborations with companies like toyota, MG, etc where we can work on real life project which will prepare us for future work. The area of improvement could be that in place of theory more practical work could be done. There are 3 internal exams known as CIE(best 2 of 3 considered) 3 quizzes (same for them) And there are lab exams And one semester end exam known as SEE.

The curriculum is strictly based on the new trends and demands of the industries. They do teach us to face real world encounters with unique problems. 3 internal examination are conducted in each sem in which best of 2 are counted.

RVCE has a very practical approach towards education. They focus more on hands on experience rather than theory classeswhich helps students as engineers. We have something called Experiential Learning in every semester where you have to build a working model of any engineering topic and present it to the teacers, and it constitutes around 20% of our total academic weightage. We also have skill labs in every semester where they teach us basic engineering skills like Welding, Sheet Metal works, Lathe Machine Operations, MS Exel, Solidworks, etc. Our college aslso has collaborations with top companies like Mercedes, Bosch, Toyota, Volvo, CISCO and many many more that offer certificate courses whic are a part of the college curriculum and also hires students directly from college placements. Our theory exams are held very frequently alonh with regular quizez and surprise tests. But a student has many opportunities of improvement exams and quizes to improve his performance in a semester.

I chose this course because that is what my rank was availing. Also, I am interested in engineering, in general. So different branches were not really of the concern. The faculty is good, the main teaching professors at least. Some lab assistants can be major rear-enders. The college is a bit uptight but all in all, it's okay. The faculty is very well qualified. Most of them are PhDs and they know their stuff. They have studied from reputed institutions like IITs and IISc. Exams are a pain. They happen every month. There are 3 internal exams in the 5-6 month semester, one big project, a bane known as EL and then your SEM ends. They're easy to pass but maintaining your CG can be a pain.

The course curriculum for Mechanical is very good. If you want to study in a core branch, then do not take any other college other than RV. RV is the best in terms of any core branch. Mechanical is the most chill branch in the college. Faculty is good and well qualified they also very supportive towards students. Exams and tests are conduct on time for preparation of the semester exams

I choose this course purely on my interest. i would say faculty:student ratio is quite decent and there will be seperate mentor for every 25 students. every teacher who teaches has done Ph.D and the teaching method is entirely experiential unlike other private engineering colleges.Monthly we will be having CIEs and 1sem for 13weeks.passing the exams is not that tough

I always had an interest in mechanical engineering so I choose it. The faculty here is quite good, their teaching methods is also great, they provide us with good materials too. The schedule of the exams is a little hectic, you literally have exams every month, you don't have midsems here instead you have cie, you have 3 cie's out of which best 2 is taken for evaluation, you also have to build projects under el category to score marks. El is a great way to boost up your cgpa

I am interested in core mechanical jobs that's why I chose this college and branch. For theoretical classes the ratio is 1:60 and for labs it's is 2:20. Faculties are well qualified with majority holding a PhD degree in their respective fields. Internal exam are not that difficult but lab practical are a bit difficult and the session ending being not that difficult but lengthy.

The mechanical engineering course in RVCE is famous for providing core placements in reputed companies such as Airbus,Boeing etc that why I chose this course. For theory classes the ratio is 1 teacher per 60 students and for lab the ratio is 1 teacher per 10 students. Faculties are well qualified with almost all holding a PhD degree from reputed universities. Faculties use modern techniques and technology to teach and labs are well maintained. There are 2 internal exams which are not that hard to score along with quizzes and a project which is called experiential learning and for term exam or session ending exam the exam is of 3 hours and a bit more difficult.
