Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

Course curriculum is same as any other college . You are taught all the basic subjects in the first Sem . Then from the second Sem you are taught your main branch subjects.1st semester is Physics cycle 2nd SEM is chemistry cycle.

Small campus, the engineering campus is just of 3 acres
No events, no fests no events college life is dead

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is same as any other engineering college where you have to study all common subjects in the first year and afterwards your core subjects start.Subjects like English and design thinking are also taught which prepares students for real world.internals are conducted at the interval of 1.5 months and semester end exams after each semester

Hostels are pretty clean and tidy also you will get free laundry service here

Dislikes

Campus size is very small , its like only 5 acres approx.
There are very less or no fests happening in college

Curriculum of college is a bit older as they teach physics and chemistry in first year which is of no use if you are from any good branch like cse because you must coding skills if you wanna grab opportunities at the end of fourth year and also the teaching method of faculty is very boring so you have to study all things by yourself if you wanna get a good cgpq.

Course Curriculum Overview:

AI is the future so there are a lot of scope in this field. The faculty is good and it's 1:5 wrt students mostly. Most of our faculty are Ph.D. holders and they are pretty good at teaching, exceptions are always there. The curriculum is properly managed and exams are not that easy to score good marks u have to study actually.
