Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is a reputed institute in Karnataka established by Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust in 1986. Sir MVIT Placements
The training and placement cell of Sir MVIT is engaged in developing the students in all skills needed by recruiting companies and placing them in top companies. Students are also advised to attain seminars and workshops etc. Right from the fourth semester onwards, regular training is conducted on total personality development and personal grooming of the students. During 2024 placements, 99.5% of engineering students were placed, and over 80% MBA and 97% MCA students received placements at Sir MVIT Placements 2024.
A minimum of 35 to 40 top companies visit the college every year and 90 – 100 per cent of students are placed. 4811 no. of offers were made in the last five years from which 3301 students got placed. Three students got placed in Lam Research Company from the Mechanical branch with more than 11 LPA CTC. The companies which selected students from all the courses are as follows:

Admission:
To take admission in this college u need to give the state exam which is COMED-K. Its a enginnering exam which allows us to take admission in different colleges of karnataka. The average cutt-off for the branch like CSE and ISE is 12000. the application form and all the criteria will be available on its official website which is comed-k.org. The difficulty level of the exam is easy not much harder but the exam is lengthy.

The admission process was through KCET and COMEDK but i came through KCET exam, some of my friends came through Management also... Application form ,application fees and dates All of them are shown in the college website The cut off is shown in sirmvit.edu website. If any reservations are available you can easily get through this college No improvement is needed in the admission process

- This college has a really good sports club which many places to play and take sports seriously. There are many students here who have excelled in sports in national level and this was possible due to the support given by the college

- Although this college is a nice one, it is more study oriented than required which might hinder the students opting to do different things
- The classrooms do not have all the facilities required like ac and cushioned seats for the comfort of students which might be an ideal study place

The admission process although simple was a time taking process which required quite a bit of patience. This college didn't have a wide variety of courses to chose from but had all the important and leading courses of current time. The application form can be found at the college and krishnadevaraya trust near palace ground and the fee depends on the type of admission ie kcet or comedk. This college doesn't provided a lot of reservation benefits but since the college fees isn't very high, students can comfortably join the college irrespective of the background. There are benifits for OBC , sc/st castes which can be availed by the students studying here. The admission process could be cut down to a certain extent so that the students can easily apply for the college. This college had pretty good placements for core branches like computer science, electrical and electronics

As iam from general category i wont get any reservation benefits. Yes the admission process needs a little improvement and does not disturd the other students studying in this college.

We are elligible for this course by writing COMDEK,KCET exams. The applications form can be found on COMEDK.ORG and KCET websites. I didnot have any Reservation benefits because i came from General category. The admission process is good,improvement requried to be faster and should not disturb others in mvit.

the admission process for my coleege was calmly handeled by the staff very well but it did takee a lot of time to be in line for our turn to turn up as it was handeled by less members of staff and we time consuming as i didnt opt for cet nor comedk as i know my rank was very high and not applicable for any of those rank for any colleges. so i had to opt for management quota and had to go through that process. as per my knowledge,there wasnt any entrance exam given for us. as per the admission fees and papers.those will given by the process by the college themselves. as per my consent what i want my college to imrove is systamatic handling of admissions with care and smart way.
