Course Description
Interested candidates have to fill out an online application to apply for MSRIT Bangalore. The stepwise application procedure is mentioned below.
- Go to the official website of MSRIT.
- Click on the Apply link available at the end of the home page.
- Now fill the form of the desired course with all the essential details.
- After filling, submit the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
- The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

The curriculum is well-balanced. As I'm in CSE, it's really important to learn the coding languages and even from the first semester, onwards they give us a lot of variety and classes to learn C+, Python, Web development, etc. From 2nd year, the course becomes more CSE central which is even better.

- The tution fees they take is a very high and also the hostel fee is also too much.
- There is no proper parking facilities for students.

- Hostel to campus distance is very far away
- No lifts in our hostels need to use stairs

The course curriculum is all set by vtu because our college comes under vtu not completely vtu it's a vtu affiliated college so curriculum is not completely set by our college but care a bit changes as set by vtu

- I really forget to mention about my college sports it provides Badminton court, basketball courts to play.

- The one thing bad about is there is only one court for each soprts.

The student and faculty ratio is 1:50 and the faculty are well qualified like at least had completed their masters and research in their domain. The sem exam is once in 6 months and they are moderate to pass.

I was interested In computer science as the cutoff was so heavy I opted for information science. The faculty is good enough I think may be 15 students per teacher. The faculty had completed a Ph.D. The exams are once a month and the exam is moderate for students.

curriculum due to pandemic was a little hectic and teacher was very good for maths and chemistry subject the mechanical teacher was a little strict while checking and giving marks faculty-student ratio was quite good it is approximate 30:1 my branch was artificial intelligence and machine learning and it was the most growing and modern branch so I, have choose this branch to pass cie and semester exam was very easy, u can get good marks if u start study before 6 days of start examination

I choose the CSE branch because of college placements and it's is situated in silicon valley of India. About 40:1 is the ratio of students to teacher. professor are highly qualified.Exam is conducting internals and externals in the college.

All the teachers have completed their PhD from reputed colleges like IITs, nits and also foreign colleges. here one class is of approx 70 students and also a proctor is allotted to a group of 6 students to help you with any of the problems. there are 2 internals and 1 external exam in a semester which comprises 15+15+50 marks and the rest of 20 marks is for the assignment. In 2021 only 4 more courses have been added here which are cse(ai ml),cse(cyber security),ai&ml, ai& data science.
