- pretty much great college, till now i have nothing to dislike about it and continue to take part in various events taking place in college
Fees and Financial Aid:
the total cost of my education which is only the tuition fees is 3.41 lakhs and there are no extra service or compulsory charges the hike for an yearly increase was 10% approx. the college campus holds various DST-sponsored online internships and various kinds of seminars.

- The campus life was amazing. Really enjoyed my days at SXC.
- There were so many events always happening in the campus that used to keep us engaged throughout the year.
Dislikes
- The students were not allowed to avail the elevator facility.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is a bit high. The total cost of this 3-year graduation degree was approximately 370000. We were not given any institutional scholarship. There is no scope for getting on-campus jobs for this course. However, we have an Entrepreneurship Development Cell run by our college where we can go and share our start-up ideas and thereby get funded to fulfil our dreams.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Quarterly fees are Rs. 24000-25500. SXC provides some scholarships like Luxmi Baid Memorial Scholarship and the Mamraj Agarwala Scholarship. However, one can apply for DST-INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP ( Rs.80000/ year).

The college has now incorporated the CBSC system of grading which is has increased the students' exposure to more practical labwork environment and learning beyond the provided syllabus. The college also provides a number of internship opportunities and summer projects thus providing enough industrial exposure

Its thoroughly designed and I being a student of Microbiology department can say that the faculties are very cooperative helpful and are ready to clear your doubts. The way they teach and practical we perform excites us more and we are more enthusiastic about how they work and I have developed interest in this subject and allied fields after getting admitted to this department

The syllabus is updated completely according to UGC guidelines. Facilities especially, libraries, canteen, laboratories are really developed and well equipped. There is a scope for industrial exposure,in the final semester.

The basic eligibility requirement for securing admission at St. Xavier’s College Kolkata is 60% aggregate marks, along with 60% marks in Biology and Chemistry separately.
The cutoff score is calculated by adding Aggregate percentage, Biology percentage, Chemistry percentage. The cutoff is calculated out of 300. If you are a CBSE/ISC student, having a score above 285 should get you a seat. For WBCHSE, a score of 275 should do. Cutoffs for other state boards are higher.
