- Scottish Church College comes under one of the top colleges of Calcutta University. It is a very prestigious institution with age-old heritage and great infrastructure. Our college has one the most beautiful campus in Kolkata.
- There are regular seminars and lectures from guest lecturers and professors from various colleges which enhances our skills and knowledge.
Dislikes
- There are some minor things which can be improved. The organisation and management of different activities of the college can be done in a better way. In terms of placements, there should be more opportunities for the students.
- Also the college should provide better internship programs for it's students .

The eligibility of the course is to have passed your 12th standard from a recognised board with an aggregate of 55% marks. The admission is direct and strictly based on merit. The college has a well-functioning website. Applications start every year around May-June.The whole admission process from application to payment of fees is strictly online. I come from general category so I did not available any reservation benefits.However, reserved categories and Christian students can get reservation benefits by submitting necessary documents.

The admission process was fully online and convenient. eligibility of my course is above 75% in PCB subjects in 12th grade. online application and everything related to admission is available on the website. Exams are twice a year. A year consists of 2-semester exams. admission process is very easy and described on the college's official website.

You will get all the updates from the college website itself There is no partiality in the admission process If you have merit then obviously you will get chance to study here. There is no entrance exam to get into this college, it will totally depend on your 12th boards result (best of 4)

The eligibility of the course is the percentage of one's board exam marks. If anyone asks me that what aspects of the admission process I didn't like, my simple answer is there is nothing that I didn't like about the admission process. If you want to pursue a bsc degree in microbiology then this college is one of the best for doing so.The form filling procedure usually starts during the months of June and July varing with the date of publication of the WBCHSE .For getting a admission in this the marks of 4 subjects English, BIOLOGY, chemistry and physics is considered. Since our college is a Christian minority college thus it has reserved seats for christians (catholic and protestants both)along with reservation for SC ST and OBC Admission is based upon the marks secured in your boards exams NOTE:After the publication of merit lists the initial cutoffs are way to high but don't worry there are atleast 30 admission lists put out.If you have a decent score in your boards (86 percent for general)you have a fairly high chance to get in Thank you
