Course Curriculum Overview

The college has now incorporated the CBSC system of grading which is has increased the students' exposure to more practical labwork environment and learning beyond the provided syllabus. The college also provides a number of internship opportunities and summer projects thus providing enough industrial exposure

I haven't got any placements yet since I'm still in the Middle of the course. But most of the seniors have got good placements in industrial jobs and research labs

College Events

The college holds Xavotsav one the biggest college fests in india. Also each and every department holds its own gets through the year and students of all departments are allowed to take part in it or be the spectators as per their wishes.

Campus Life

The campus has numerous clubs and infrastructure to offer. There is a sports club, art club, literature club, science club, entrepreneurship development cell that provides numerous job opportunities. There is a central library and a while separate building has been devoted to the library. The labs are also fully equipped with the latest instruments and properly maintained.

Regarding examination the frequency is generally acceptable but the timing sometimes overlaps with project submission,creating unnecessary pressure. Exam duration is of 3hrs They should focus more on building projects which can be helpful for students Labs are modern and well equipped In terms of teaching methods a shift towards interactive learning,problem based assignments,hackathons and collaborative projects could make the learning experience more impactful. More emphasis on research and innovation at the undergraduate level could also encourage academic pursuits.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.
