The semester fees varies for different semesters and for different courses. You do not get any scholarship opportunities from the college itself however you can apply for Inspire scholarship if you scored good in 12th Board examination. Campus provide numerous opportunities for placements.

There are some scholarships availed by the college authority for the students and that will get announced only by them. Rest there is nothing like assistance and all that. But paid internship opportunities are there so that one can avail his/her own course fees to some extent.

The face structure of my college is comparatively less than private colleges as I know there is no extra tuition fees for the college. As a BSc student 1st year I have not got any scholarships from the college.

Generally you don't need to take tution because the faculty is very good so the course cost is nearly 2 lac and depending on your travel costs calculate your total cost and the semester fees is taken in 2 installments

Fees are taken twice each semester and it varies. There was a huge hike in the first half fees of second years. It stays around 20000 each time but it may increase. The complete cost is around 130000, for the 3 years. Scholarships are available though I have not availed any. There is an excellent placement cell. The package for statistics is around 6 lpa.

SXC keeps a hike of 5% in its fees every year. Also, the cost of my course is a little high compared to other colleges. Till now I've not got any financial grant or jobs on campus. But I've heard of some scholarships which are offered to many bright students.
Fees are to be given quarterly. Approx 8k per quarter. And at the time of admission, you have to pay the admission fee of 20k approx. I am not sure if there are any admission scholarships maybe they have you have to contact the office. And there is no job available on campus with stipends. Sxc is quite expensive concerning other colleges out there.
The course curriculum is too vast but the teachers are so helpful and their way is teaching is quite impressive. It is not necessary to join a coaching class for any subject. The lectures and the guidance is enough for all Students. The laboratories are so nice and instruments are sufficient for all students.
Both colleges are great options for studying statistics.
Presidency University has a glorious history and the department of Statistics is one of the best departments. The university has great alumni which makes it score higher in terms of ‘Heritage’. One of the most famous names among them is P.C. Mahalanobis. There are dedicated faculty members like Prof. BR and Prof. PD, who is an alumnus himself.
One of my friends has Statistics as his electives but he never got the chance to be taught by these reputed faculty members. Students are highly dedicated and excels in their respective university exams.
Graduates from this college pursued post-graduate studies from reputed universities like ISI, CMI, IMSc, etc. If you have Honours in Statistics with Mathematics and Economics, then it will be a great combination.
In terms of environment, you will get a sense of freedom at Presidency and a change to form a opinion on various aspects of life. However, St. Xavier’s College is also good but it is very strict and you will get a feel of school there. It is known for its discipline while Presidency University is know for its creativity.
